### 3/5 — All in one kit

*2026-07-13*

The app is cool and a beginner friendly and the bands work as advertised and built well.. 3 starts because depending on what kit you buy depends on what workout you can do and I felt like the ad that was running didn’t make that clear and you’ll have to spend additional money to be able to do everything you see them doing on the ads.

### 4/5 — Challenging

*2026-07-06*

This workouts will test your endurance and they do make a difference. If it is to be it’s up to me!

### 4/5 — Please enable this to save progress

*2026-06-28*

The app is great and really enjoyable workouts. One thing I wish is that I didn’t have to figure out which workout I was on again. Which one is next etc. skipping along to try and remember which one I have just done is quite frustrating. It would be so much easier if the program/progress saved so I could pick up where I left off, track which week I had completed etc

### 4/5 — Very good but

*2026-04-16, version 2.7*

I love using it, the app would benefit from some more filters of the exercises and ti track what you do like, the amount of resistance etc….

### 2/5 — Subscription & Poor Design

*2026-03-05*

Changing the belts felt like I was damaging them every time - it’s not as simple as some videos make it out: pulling them up then out AND pushing them in then down is already showing signs of wear and tear (I’ve had it a day!).

Also very disappointing to see everything locked behind a subscription service. Very poor service to ask people for more money after they’ve just bought your product! I was hoping for a lot more in the app.

### 5/5 — Workouts are really easy to follow

*2026-02-20, version 2.2*

Loving using the app, workouts are really easy to follow Marcus is the best coach ever!

### 2/5 — New app

*2026-02-19*

Loved Gymproluxe when I started using it last month and delighted that it catered for someone like me who wants to get in better shape but can’t find the time to get to the gym. However, when first purchased their Facebook ad wrote that lessons were FREE and after a £100+ spent this incentivised me to buy it. Sad then that this is no longer the case and my previously free workouts are now locked behind a paywall. Understand that they need to grow their business and subscription is the ideal way to do that, just a shame that my so called “free” workouts are now locked. Love the apparatus, hate the subscription service.

### 3/5 — Work is needed

*2026-02-15*

I got my kit but the app was broken for several days (Feb 2026). Was told everything is going to You Tube. App is working now, but all the prices are in British pounds £. I'm in the US and the prices should be adjustable for local currency units. I could easily do a conversion but other apps detail things for where the user is located. Glad the app is working now.

### 2/5 — App does not work

*2026-02-11*

The app does not work. You can download it but once you try to login nothing happens. It just loads and loads. The actual bands and gear are great

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work and they don’t accept returns outside of the UK

*2026-02-11*

Attempt to login and it just spins. Uninstall/reinstall and same thing. Then after researching the return policy on their website, they state they don’t accept returns outside of the UK. Do not buy it from this company.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Pure greed

*2026-03-19*

After spending close to £300 on equipment with this company I also spent £20 on the lifelong membership for the app which gave you all the workouts needed to successfully train. Since returning to training after awhile out, I no longer have access to previous workouts and I am being asked to pay more money for New a subscription. This all seem like a big con from this company, previous customers who purchased lifetime memberships should get access to this.

### 1/5 — New version is WORSE

*2026-03-14, version 2.4*

The "new" version of the app is far worse, has less content, and puts a lot of content behind paywalls. There are amateurish video playback issues.

### 1/5 — Complete con artists

*2026-03-08, version 2.3*

I bought the standard bar set, then went back for the accessory set all with the promise of lifetime access to the app. Now they’ve updated the app and most of the exercises are buried behind an extortionate paywall. Complete charlatans

### 1/5 — Newly locked behind paywall

*2026-03-08, version 2.3*

When I bought my gymproluxe equipment it came with a promise of lifetime access to their workout videos in the app - now the latest version has come out you have to pay extra on top of what you’ve paid for the equipment - yes it’s £5 a month and cheaper than a PT but it’s not what I thought I was buying

### 1/5 — Total bait and switch

*2026-03-04, version 2.3*

Already spent the best part of £200 on the equipment, now all the videos that were previously free in the app are suddenly behind a paywall. What an absolute disgrace. I’m sure they used to advertise “free lifetime membership” to the app too.

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2026-02-23, version 2.2*

Waste of money

### 1/5 — Edit: changed from 4 star to 1

*2026-02-16, version 2.1*

All workouts are now put behind a pay wall. You can learn some individual exercises, but before the big update you could do full workouts for free, everything is now locked until you pay.

### 1/5 — Impossible to reset your password on the app

*2026-02-15, version 2.1*

The app requires you to enter a 6 digit code to reset your email. The middle 2 boxes are yellow though and won’t allow you to enter digits into them

### 1/5 — Hero to Zero

*2026-02-14, version 2.0*

⭐️ 1 out of 5 — Extremely Disappointing

I’m giving this app one star, and honestly, that feels generous. Gymproluxe originally promised lifetime access to their workout content, but now everything is suddenly locked behind a monthly subscription. It doesn’t matter how polished or “premium” the app looks — if you can’t use it without paying again, it’s pointless.

What makes it worse is that the exact same workout videos are still free to watch on YouTube. So why am I being asked to pay a subscription just to view the same content inside the app? It feels like a bait‑and‑switch, and it completely undermines trust in the brand.

If you’re thinking of downloading this, don’t bother. Unless you enjoy paying monthly for something that used to be free, you’ll get more value just sticking to YouTube.

### 1/5 — RIP

*2026-02-13*

Almost all the free videos we used to have access to are now paywalled. I was wondering why the app suddenly wasn’t loading anything and it was to get people to start paying for a subscription. Even talking on the community is now locked behind a sub.

### 5/5 — Bought mine from their website

*2026-06-30*

I LOVE it. I have trouble sticking with going to the gym because of my work schedule, but ever since I bought mine, I haven’t missed a day of exercise. And it offers great resistance. Like, my muscles do burn after I use it. I really love this.
