## What is GyrOSC?

GyrOSC is a lightweight utility that sends your device's motion sensors to any OSC (Open Sound Control) capable application over Wi-Fi. Wirelessly control your OSC capable audio or video app by moving and tilting your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad.

Wirelessly send:

• Gyroscope {pitch, roll, yaw}
• Accelerometer {x-axis, y-axis, z-axis}
• Compass {magnetic heading}
• GPS {latitude, longitude, altitude, course, speed, time}

I was trying to control Max or Unity with iOS motion sensor. First, I tried MIDI but couldn’t find a good app. TC-Orbiter of the same developer seemed good but crashes often .
And I found this app, GyrOSC, and turned direction to OSC.
This app works fine, can access all the sensors on iOS devices, gyro, motion, GPS, etc. and this very precisely.
I appreciate especially the new feature for configuring message addresses. Thus I can use Live’s Connection Kit without changing.

Malheureusement l’appli n’est pas utilisable sans internet pour une modification stupide dont le concepteur se plaint lui-même. Voici sa réponse : "I agree! It used to work on a standard ad hoc network, but they changed the reachability framework to check for an internet connection rather than connection to a network. I'll take a look for a workaround. »

J’attend une mise à jour qui corrigera cette bévue pour remettre mes 5 étoiles :)
