## What is H?

With the app, you can scan and bag your own items as you shop, make less contact with others, and save time at checkout in any lane.
Get started by launching the application at an eligible *H-E-B location, then log in with your HEB.com credentials or create a new account.

Once you have created an account, then:


1. Scan and bag as you shop 

Use your mobile device to scan your items as you place them in your cart or bag. The app will track your items as you shop, and you can add or remove products before finalizing your purchase.


2. Head to checkout

When you’re done shopping, head to self-checkout. At self-checkout, the kiosk screen will guide you through the checkout process.


3. And Go!

Pay as you normally would, grab your receipt and go! Or if your store has an H-E-B Go kiosk, check out by scanning the kiosk’s code and paying with the app.

There have been countless times when I’ve gone grocery shopping and wished that there was a way to quickly and easily track my groceries and pay for them without having to stand in line. This app has been a total game changer! Since it’s inception and launch at the H-E-B in Lakeway, Texas, the H-E-B Go app has saved me countless hours in line as I go grocery shopping at least three times a week. No more fumbling for payment cards or anything of the sort. Everything is done from my phone quickly and easily. Huge shout out to your apps team who created this application. That manager deserves a promotion and the apps team deserves a raise! Great job, H-E-B!

Why is the small “scan” button right next to the large “check out” button? Why are the buttons the same color? Why is the scan button so small when it is used many times to add items, and why is the check out button so large when it is used only once to check out at the end of shopping? Do the app designers actually use the app like us regular humans? Do they have small fingers?Update: v 2.5.1 seems to be better, but it still has errors scanning digital coupons. “Scan here in app” coupons are not working. 2.3.5 is still buggy. Multiple crashes, difficulty logging in to account. Not adding scanned items. 
Rock solid until the latest version 2.3.4. Crashes often, some items don’t register when scanned, multiple errors with a credit card that expires at the end of the current month.

I love the HEB Go app with the ability to scan and bag my purchases as I go. I suggest a tweak to the current layout. Having the “scan” button right above the “check out” button is too close. I have frequently hit the check out button when I wanted to scan something new. Maybe switch the placement of the order total and the check out button.
