Why are the buttons the same color? Why is the scan button so small when it is used many times to add items, and why is the check out button so large when it is used only once to check out at the end of shopping? Do the app designers actually use the app like us regular humans? Do they have small fingers?Update: v 2.5.1 seems to be better, but it still has errors scanning digital coupons. “Scan here in app” coupons are not working. 2.3.5 is still buggy. Multiple crashes, difficulty logging in to account. Not adding scanned items. Rock solid until the latest version 2.3.4. The app is so streamlined and continues to improve all the time! Out of 100s of shopping experiences with the GO app, I have had almost no problems with it and if there was a problem, the staff is so helpful in fixing it and getting me on my way! I restart my phone, I redownload the app. Sometimes it does the trick, but a lot of times it doesn’t. I love it😀 ### 2/5 — Great Concept - But Buggy *2025-10-26, version 2.3.4* I’ve been using this at my local H.E.B. Plus, since it was first introduced (perhaps 5 years ago?) I was forgiving of bugs at first, since this was a new software/ hardware platform, but I expect the software to be a bit more stable, by now. I do not believe that I have EVER had a shopping experience where the app hasn’t either crashed on me, hung (forcing me to perform a hard exit & relaunch) or some other issue. Lately, when the app crashes, I will loose several of my most recently scanned items, so I must carefully look through the item that I have bagged (as I shop) to see if they are among the items still listed in my digital cart. I then need to rescan all of those items lost, when the application crashed. I also don’t quite understand why I need to input Digital Coupons in the MY H-E-B app, so that they will be applied at checkout in this app? Why have two separate apps in the first place? This app has been a total game changer! Since it’s inception and launch at the H-E-B in Lakeway, Texas, the H-E-B Go app has saved me countless hours in line as I go grocery shopping at least three times a week. No more fumbling for payment cards or anything of the sort. Everything is done from my phone quickly and easily. Huge shout out to your apps team who created this application. That manager deserves a promotion and the apps team deserves a raise!
