## What is H3 Control?

H3 Control is an app that enables wireless control of the ZOOM H3-VR.
With it, you can use an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch (6th generation or later) as a wireless controller for an H3-VR.
Note: A ZOOM BTA-1 is also necessary to operate an H3-VR with H3 Control.
In addition to the fundamental operations of starting/stopping recording/playback and searching forward/backward, you can use this app to add marks and make various settings.
You can also use it to check input levels and the remaining battery charge as well as to monitor the remaining recording time.
Moreover, with this app, you can directly input characters from the iOS device to change file names and to add notes and data used when recording, including the date and time.

to use the h3 control with h3-vr, i bought the bta-1. neither the app nor the bta-1 are working - "NO CONNECTION" - "RECONNECT" - u can reconnect the whole day to loose time and nerves. H3 CONTROL will not be shown in Bluetooth-Section - APP AND BTA-1 ARE BOTH NOT WORKING WITH: IPAD, IPAD pro, IPHONE - THANKS A LOT FOR BUYING THE BTA-1 FOR REALLY NOTHING!!!

During the pairing process, the H3 pops up a code but the app does not allow me to enter it and just hangs.

If I stop the pairing process on the H3, then the app starts popping up error messages that it’s lost connection and wants to reconnect but it can’t. Same thing happens on my iPad.

Being able to control most aspects of the H3 with the Bluetooth adaptor is great, and excellent for monitoring levels / making adjustments remotely etc. it would be nice if it were more stable with iOS on iPhone Pro Max 15. (H3 firmware 3.20).

Refuses to connect. Total dud. Zoom shouldn’t be advertising and selling the Bluetooth accessory knowing it doesn’t work with modern phones. Avoid!

I have an iPhone 12 pro max.  The app used to work, but at some point it stopped being able to connect - likely after an iOS upgrade.  H3-VR shows the password, app seems to try to connect but then just freezes with all the controls greyed out.
Zoom need to fix this, but I’m guessing they wont.  Recorder is running v3.2 firmware. Connection doesnt work with iOS 16 or 17

I can’t get it to connect to new iPhone 14 pro correctly.  I launch the app and the app freezes . I can’t interact with the app, everything looks greyed out and the interface doesn’t work. The password goes away on the recorder. When I close the app it says disconnected on the recorder.
