Dienst verhindert den standby des Geräts und es wäre gut wenn man die Funktion ausschalten könnte da ich mit einem Bewegungsmelder das iPad aufwachen möchte damit das Display nicht dauerhaft an ist.

Tried this on two iPads IOS 17 and iOS 26. Works on both, but on both iPads, the option for a blank screen on sleep does not work, the screen remains lit.  If you use the clock option, it will switch to that after no motion is detected and times out. It uses the iPads camera to do this. I would rather a blank screen aesthetically rather than the clock the app designer uses- or the option for different clock designs. like the other user I tried to contact the app developer, no response, I even tried his Facebook instagram linked in links he has on his website. Nope.  Still for a couple of bucks, it’s pretty good and worth supporting for people like him to make things like this.

Sorry about the lack of response earlier: your Instagram message seems to have landed in the spam / message-requests section, which I unfortunately don’t always get notified about.

Regarding the blank screen option: unfortunately iOS does not allow apps to fully turn off the display via code. The clock view is currently the closest workaround Apple allows while keeping the app active. That said, I understand the aesthetic preference and alternative clock styles are a good idea.

It’s way cheaper than other apps and it works well. I use it on an iPad 6th generation to display Immich Frame or HA dashboards.

Works well with Home assistant and kiosk mode. Nothing to configure and wake the device is reactive 👍
💡improvement ideas : on my iPhone XS, I have 2 black on left and right. So I lose a little bit of space. I don’t have this issue on safari.
Other thing : customize text when is device is sleeping, remove seconds, turn off the screen, ..

Thanks also for the improvement suggestions — they’re super helpful. The black bars on the sides of your iPhone XS shouldn’t be there (need to test on that specific device), so I’ll look into adjusting the layout so it uses the full screen like Safari does. And I like your ideas about customizing the sleep text, hiding seconds, or even turning off the screen — all great enhancements for kiosk mode.

Do not get this, you’ll only be frustrated!

This app doesn’t work: All fonts are much larger and overlapping that in normal app/web browser.

The zoom setting is ignored.

Not possible to reload the page.

All of this wouldn’t be so bad of there would be at least an answer from the author. Over the course of the last few months I contacted multiple times and did not get even a courtesy response. It’s a black hole.

Very disappointed and regretful getting this app.

Ich nutze die App seit einigen Monaten um mein Home Assistant Dashboard mit einem alten iPad an den Kühlschrank zu hängen. Die Präsenzerkennung und auch die Standby Uhr funktionieren hervorragend, auch das herunter skalieren von Inhalten hat mir auf dem iPad sehr geholfen. Einzig das automatische aktualisieren der Seite, in einem einstellbaren Zeitintervall wäre noch sehr Hilfreich, weil sich einige Elemente sonst erst aktualisieren, wenn ich den Tab Wechsle.

### 3/5 — Watching a view with camera feeds will make the app crash

The bug that prevented the app to be used (all touch were disabled) was fixed. But a new bug appeared.

When watching a view with about 6 cameras views, the app will crash.

It works fine in Safari and the original HA app so it’s something unique to this app.

It’s a great concept of an app, but unfortunately realisation leaves things to be desired. And as it is, it’s not usable for me when it worked just fine at first

Installed this latest update & now neither iPad nor iPhone (both fully uptodate IOS18.4) recognise ANY touch controls ☹️.  Symptom is a frozen app, can’t log in (specifically can’t enter anything to log in) after trying delete & reinstall app.  But only screen input recognised is right swipe to go to settings (so app is not frozen, it just doesn’t allow any input at all aside from settings swipe & those setting choice DO accept changes). I’ve emailed developer directly reporting this too - no reply so far.
