## What is Habit Tracker for Two?

Inosc is a habit app for exactly two people.

Not a feed. Not a leaderboard. One partner, five habits each, and two trees that grow from the days you both show up.

Two trees planted close enough will fuse as they grow. Their roots join and they share water. Botanists call it inosculation. That is the whole idea.

HOW IT WORKS
- Pick five habits. Mark one as your priority.
- Invite one person. Just one. Or start solo and invite them when you're ready.
- Tick your habits each day. So do they.
- Every day you both show up, your roots grow toward each other. At 66 days, the typical time it takes for a new habit to feel automatic, they meet.
- Every seven days that count add a ring to your tree. Tap your tree to see them.
- Add a photo to a habit if you want your partner to see it. Photos are kept for 14 days.
- Nudge them when they have gone quiet. Gently.
- Sign in with Apple, Google or your email.

WHY TWO
Accountability collapses in a crowd. It works when one specific person notices you are missing. Inosc has no way to add a second partner, and that is on purpose. Studies back it up: people who change a habit together with a partner do better than people who go it alone.

SUBSCRIPTION
Inosc is an automatically renewing subscription, with a free trial of 14 days for new subscribers.

Prices in the United States after the trial (the app always shows the price in your own currency):
- Solo monthly: $6.99 per month
- Annual: $39.99 per year
- Paired monthly: $4.99 per month. This price unlocks after seven paired days, meaning days you and your partner both show up while paired to each other. Once earned, it stays yours for as long as your subscription continues.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings at any time.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.4 — 2026-10-10

A smoother, fairer Inosc.

- You and your partner now always see the same number of days together.
- Updating the app no longer signs you out.
- If your ticks ever can't be saved, a banner lets you sign back in so they still count.
- Tap your partner's photo to see it big.
- When a new version is out, Inosc takes you straight to the update.
- One subscription now covers up to two Inosc accounts on the same Apple ID, so a family sharing one Apple ID pays once.
- Inosc now uses a service called RevenueCat, through our own server, to see how subscriptions are doing. It only gets purchase records, never your habits, your photos or your partner, and it's never used for ads or tracking. You'll see a short note about it once.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-10-06

A big update, built around doing it together.

New
- Sign in with Apple or Google, or keep using your email.
- A simpler sign up page, with everything on one screen.
- Live with your partner: their ticks, photos and nudges appear within seconds while the app is open, and a nudge is already waiting when you open it.
- Swipe back to last week on your Habits calendar, and see exactly what you and your partner did each day.
- Habit photos, yours and your partner's, are now kept for 14 days, so you can look back on the last two weeks together. After that they are deleted automatically.
- Milestone moments now reach you even when the app is closed, and never in the middle of the night.
- If your partner leaves, your days together are kept.
- A new Subscription page in Settings to see your plan and switch it.
- Your subscription now belongs to your Inosc account. Switched accounts on the same phone? You can move it over.
- Prices in your own currency, including rupees in India.

Changed
- Your roots now meet at 66 days, the typical time it takes for a new habit to feel automatic.
- Reminders are simpler: one at midday and one in the evening, only on days that don't count yet. They replace the reminders on single habits.
- The paired rate now unlocks properly after seven paired days.
- Tap your tree itself to see your rings, which now open right where you are.
- Signing in takes you straight to your trees, with no flicker.
- A clearer start for new users, including the research behind Inosc.

Fixed
- Deleting your account now works for everyone.
- A purchase now unlocks Inosc right away.
- Signing out now clears everything from that account, including its reminders.
- Using Inosc on two phones keeps both in step, even when you untick a habit.
- Habits ticked offline are counted for the right day.
- Switching off your habits no longer resets your days together.
- Photos from before you paired stay private.
- A crash after opening your rings many times.
- Layout on smaller iPhones like the SE.
- Dates now always show in English, and your partner is no longer called "his".
- Many smaller fixes for speed and reliability.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-24

Prices are lower. Monthly, annual and the paired rate have all come down.

The paired rate arrives sooner: seven days paired with your partner instead of
fifteen, and it no longer depends on whether you're still in your free trial.
Stay paired for a week and your monthly price drops.

Your roots now grow from the first day. Before, nothing visible happened for the
first two weeks even when you both showed up. Now every day you share moves them,
evenly, all the way to sixty.

The subscription screen has been rebuilt.

FIXED

- Editing your habits could leave you stuck. Turning one off made Save stop
working with no explanation, and a swipe could switch a habit off when you only
meant to rename it. Renaming is now a button, Save stays live and tells you
exactly what it needs, and a save that fails no longer disappears in silence.

- Looking back at an earlier day felt like the app had frozen — the rows wouldn't
respond and the week strip seemed stuck. It now shows which day you're viewing
and offers a way back to today. Tapping the same day again takes you there too.

- A day from before your habits existed showed an empty score. It now says
nothing was done, because nothing could have been.

- Invite links used to claim a code the moment they opened. They now show you
who invited you and wait for you to tap Join.

- If you're on your own, the app no longer mentions a partner who isn't there.

ALSO

- Signing out asks first, and tells you what stays on your account.

- Requests that hang now give up and offer to try again, instead of leaving you
waiting on a screen that never finishes.

- Invite links are only accepted in the form the app issues.

- Partner photos saved on your device are protected when your phone is locked.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-19

A calmer start.

Setting up Inosc has been rewritten end to end: fewer words, one idea per screen, and a clearer walk from your first habit to your first tree.

- Setup now explains how a day counts, what roots are and what a ring means, in plain language
- Choosing your five habits is simpler, with the rules where you need them rather than stacked above
- No waiting period after a pairing ends — invite someone again whenever you are ready
- Steadier nudges, and clearer messages when something goes wrong
