### 5/5 — Not unlike the other habit tracker apps

*2026-05-28*

The app has been game changing for me, all the other habit trackers on app store looks and feels the same, the same old ui design and some apps even ask to setup a payment before even adding an habit like wth. But init habits was completely different with a new theme and ideology and it lets you track 10 habits with all the stats all for free without setting up any payment system and i just love the different themes in the app it just takes the app to a whole new level.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your review! I'm happy you are enjoying init.Habits, and please get in touch if you have any feedback!

### 5/5 — Love the design

*2026-05-27, version 1.0.1*

I’ve cycled through a lot of habit trackers and init.Habits is the first one I’ve come across in a while that’s actually refreshing. The monospaced, terminal-inspired UI is genuinely unique in a category where everything is starting to look the same. the typography, the themes, it genuinely feels like a terminal experience, which is bold, but works!

Solid 1.0. You can tell the dev absolutely cares about every detail within this app, and that there’s passion behind it. Which is becoming harder and harder to find.

### 5/5 — the best

this is the best habit tracker i’ve come across 🙌

### 5/5 — Minimalist design, maximum execution

*2026-05-25, version 1.0.0*

I’ve been using init.Habits for a month now, as part of the TestFlight testing pre-1.0 release. The design of the app is what made it catch my eye and appealed to me as an engineer, but what made me stick with it is the ease of use and flexibility it gives you. I’ve cycled through plenty of habit tracking apps in the past, but it often felt like they were working against me. The design helps the app get out of its own way; I mark a habit done, and move on. The nudges it gives are just right: present enough to keep you accountable, but not overbearing. The stats page is useful at a glance: easy to read, easy to act on. And the health integration is seamless in the background, without you having to think about it. It’s rare for a 1.0 to feel this considered and intentional. I’m excited to see where it goes!

### 5/5 — awesome app

*2026-05-25, version 1.0.0*

init.habits has helped me with my own app development and is really good priced in my opinion. the terminal like brings me back home and just makes it feel like fun instead of required tasks. the customization is also a really big benefit!

### 5/5 — Finally a tracker that I actually feel like using

Clear, opinionated UI, extremely neurodivergent friendly. And it just works.

### 5/5 — Clear cut routine and habits

*2026-07-20, version 1.2.2*

I have been looking for an app like this for a very long time. I’ve tried dozens of habit trackers and would always find myself getting lost and overwhelmed in the fluff.

Init.habits is exactly what you want it to be, a clear cut way to track routines and habits. The developer has made it that you don’t have to worry about customizing or tweaking anything it’s just ready to go and help you better yourself. BUT the app also has a great level of customization if you so please. It’s the best of both worlds there. There’s something about the streaks that makes it feel accomplishing rather than another chore, and if you miss one there isn’t this negative impact but rather something to reflect on.

Phenomenal app with an in touch developer that is active in their community. I cannot recommend it enough.

### 5/5 — Finally found the one

*2026-06-20, version 1.1.5*

I’ve been burning through my phone’s storage for YEARS trying to find a habit tracker system that works for me. I’ve tried the gamified ones, minimalist ones, maximalist ones, bullet journals and blank spaces in my Hobonichi Techos, but I knew when I tried out init.Habits that I’d finally found what I’d been looking for. The app looks and feels amazing, it really motivates me to complete my habits and be productive throughout the day. I’m totally in love with it and I will be using it for the rest of my life probably lol. Thank you so much dev!! U did ur big one with this 🙏
