## What is HabitHero?

HabitHero turns chores into an adventure your kids actually want to do. You set the chores; they earn XP, level up through ranks, unlock mystery boxes, and build streaks - and you approve everything from one calm, simple dashboard.

Kids do their part on the free companion app, HabitHero Kids, signing in with their own code on their own device. No more nagging - just a game they're keen to win.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Create quests with schedules, time windows, and photo proof - or rotate a chore between siblings automatically.
• Decide the rewards: screen time, treats, outings, pocket money - whatever motivates your crew.
• Approve completed quests in a tap, or mark them done yourself.
• Pay points out as real pocket money, in your own currency.

WHAT KEEPS KIDS HOOKED
• XP, ranks, and daily streaks.
• Mystery boxes and a daily-completion bonus.
• Power Hour (double points), Aura bounties, and co-op family goals everyone chips in on.
• A reward store, and a "Make It Yours" page to customise avatar, colours, and an animated XP banner.

MADE FOR YOUR FAMILY
• Rename "quests" and "points" to whatever your family calls them.
• Pick themes and set the allowance currency.
• Works on iPhone and iPad, with a home-screen widget.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No ads. No third-party tracking or analytics.
• Your family's data is stored in Australia.
• Built by a parent, for families.

An app that does exactly what it says and more. Customisation is really well thought out too!

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 2.1 — 2026-07-21

Make the Bucket List your own.

During School Holidays you can now name the Bucket List yourself, pick the reward, set the goal and write your own checklist items, instead of being stuck with the built in Summer Bucket List. Change it whenever you like and your crew's card updates straight away, with everything they have already earned kept.

Also in this update:

Clearer reward timers. When a timed reward runs out, the kids app now says plainly that the time has ended and points them to the Rewards tab to buy more before they carry on.

A new What's New screen, so after each update you can see what changed without hunting for it.

The iPhone layout now stays in portrait, so nothing shifts around if the phone gets turned.

### 2.0 — 2026-07-06

No release notes.
