(I was raised in the UK) I really want to become fluent not only because it’s my heritage but also to communicate with my extended family. I have been using this app for a few weeks, and wow. This really teaches you about Iraqi culture, small linguistic details, differences between other dialects, honestly so much. I really love the little notes that appear on words. Also, I love how it really teaches you how to read Arabic efficiently. The standard form of questions in this app are: just the Arabic word, then some English answers. No English pronunciation guide is given for the Arabic word (you can ask for it though, and the pronunciation is always given in the flashcards) There’s also questions with just an English word and then Arabic multiple choice options, again, with no speaking of the Arabic words; you read it yourself and practice.
