App doesn’t work anymore. Nothing loads at all and spinner just spins. Tried clearing cache and uninstalling and reinstalling app. Disappointed I paid for this.

I suppose I could blame my own reading for this, but this is worth a call out. client seems to be read only, no way to reply to thread

Best HN client for iOS I’ve used. App name appears to have changed from “HackerNewt” to “Hacko for Hacker News” on July 16, 2025; probably best to mention that somewhere in the 1.5.1 release notes or even in the description, as there are quite a few mentions of the former name online.

Update 6/5/24 - Developer quickly fixed the issue with the app and responded with the feedback. Kudos for listening to feedback and updating. Updating to 5. Thanks!
