First of all, why does every lone battleship in BLSes need to be equipped with vengeance? I'm still on RS5 and I'm already seeing RS7 mods. Besides, why are BLSes never properly balanced? I keep seeing like a level 80 or sometimes even 150 player and I'm saying that as a level 47. Also, please nerf the colossus. It is way too strong and that makes them the "gatekeepers" of drone modules in RSes not to even mention the salvage module they have. PLEASE REPLACE SALVAGE WITH SOMETHING ELSE, IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA. Having them to be able to gain hp when a ship is destroyed is basically sadist. Or you don't gotta remove it, just atleast nerf that as well. What even is the point of the cerberus drone? I don't see what kind of situation you would ever want to summon a short-lived cerberus guardian that would probably get deleted in a few seconds by your own weapon (or hours in ws). I kind of look at it as a worse version of the alpha drone you deleted for no reason. ### 2/5 — Tedious *2026-06-29, version 6.565.3* Almost good, but ultra grindy and blue stars are terrible. They give you credits to PvP, but there’s no balance or match making in it and the bots have terribly annoying abilities like vengeance. Now it’s all about Chain Rays and Dispatch. No more 5v5 and relic drone spamming, either. If your clan is outnumbered, just forget it. The older version of White Stars was more intense, and just more fun. I don’t understand the economy change, how does spending 1 million credits on a planet upgrade to increase my credit cap by 30k make sense? Truthfully I’ve probably spent way too much time playing the old version of it. When they implemented the update they destroyed some of the key things that made this game so good. WS’s use to be the best part of the game. Now they are boring and without Chain Ray forget about playing one. Too bad. They gave up on console support for a big update….what update? The Cerb drone? Does anyone even use it? The grind passes the time I guess but for no real purpose. Real lack of new players. Constantly pit against top tier players. Boring as f… The white stars are actually ok if you’re in a half decent corp and probably the only thing of interest, but what are the rewards for winning? Extra artifact boost….ok….lame. The blue stars are a complete unbalanced waste of time. 99.99% of matches are populated players with far more advanced modules. I’ve yet to be the least advanced player. It’s not about strategy when you’re clearly at a disadvantage. You can’t expect me to believe that I’m the only low tier player looking for blue stars? Or maybe I am because the “all players in one pot” system is broken and lazy development at best and clearly no one other than the maxed out players want to play it. ### 1/5 — No help what’s the point in your customer service email. *2026-04-09, version 6.565.3* I have sent many emails now asking for some help I have not even had a response saying it may take time to get to me. I have a rank of 120 and constantly up against 800+ ranks in blue stars. No amount of grinding helps you compete. They need to balance the levels so it’s at least a chance to compete. ### 1/5 — Update to Dark Nebula Killed the Game *2025-10-17, version 6.565.0* The game was alive and simple. And simplicity always wins in games. Then, they announced an update to change the entire functions of the game. The ENTIRE player base said no and pleaded but it went ahead anyway. It’s literally not the same game. Very sad as I miss the playing and the friends that came with it. When doing a blue star, which is one of the main things that you need to do, new plavers that are around lvl 20 are matched up with extremely powerful higher lvl players (over lvl 800 I’ve seen) in ranked and unranked matches. Nope, all Red Star have an op setup. Mass batt, shield regen, barrier, solitude. Blue stars are worse, if you want to win it’s mass batt, alpha shield, destiny, vengeance, teleport. Problem is as a player. You get matched with people who out mod you by 2–6 levels and it becomes impossible to win. Much like the other reviews, the update is rough to say the least. Really satisfies the long term progression itch and there’s nothing else quite like the strategic 5-day team vs team matches (called “white stars”) out there. Great game for people who are fans of strategy, and the developer has been very principled about finding ways to generate revenue without micro transactions / pay to win / ads.
