I tried the ask us a question feature when you need help with your classic, no one responds ever. I have roadside assistance with my own car insurance, and if you reach out to customer service they don’t respond. So why bother to have it? Why pay the yearly 79 bucks when you can’t even get them to respond bc they didn’t send the promised magazine. Don’t waste your time, there are other car insurers for classics, and far better driving clubs to be members of. Sad that they can’t get it together at Hagerty anymore. I used to be a loyal fan! ### 1/5 — Zero roadside assistance *2024-07-13, version 24.01.02* I only use the app for roadside, and have had to use it twice in the last 2 months. First was a scheduled tow, which showed up 6 hours late and I would’ve easily paid a local company to save the time. And now when I am broken down, I submitted a request and 2 hours later still no vendor has been chosen to even begin the wait of someone showing up. Save your money and pass on Drivers Club, it’s a joke. ### 1/5 — No payment function *2024-07-02, version 24.01.02* Hagerty does not make it easy enough to pay a bill. Their invoice does not explicitly state the policy number, which is required by the website in order to pay online and if you punch in the policy number, when you finally figure out what it is, it doesn’t work anyway. you need to use an email address or a phone number instead. No autopay. No Apple Pay. No QR code that takes you straight to payment. Hagerty is a great insurance company, but they are very behind in this area. ### 1/5 — Poor app *2023-04-08, version 23.03.20* Great insurance, terrible app. Policy will not show up. Have to call to connect, but there are a hundred options in the phone menus. Then after logging in, it takes you back to the app. But to make any changes in the app, it brings you back to the browser page. I could find prices for cars dating back to 2012. But as of a few months ago, if the car is in an ongoing auction u can see the value otherwise can’t find any historical sales. Pls fix this issue. ### 1/5 — Login Doesn’t Work *2019-08-18, version 4.3* Latest iPad version as of 2019.08.17 Started app, attempted to “Register or Login with existing account”. I selected “existing account” where it redirected me (within the app) the Hagerty website. I authenticated and the website within the app recognized me and I could see “My Account”. When I clicked “Done” in the top left to return back to the app, the app just tells me to log in or register. I’ll give the iPhone version a try.
