After trying a dozen phone combinations if you just type in zero it takes you to the country or region options. The United States is not one of them! So unless they add that to the region and accept the +1 as the country code those of us that live in the USA cannot register. It doesn’t appear that they’ve updated the app or anything in years!!! I hope that they do at some point. Unfortunately the app lets you register but then won’t let you login. It’s about as good as a wet paper bag. Haibike produce an app that you can’t use, it won’t let me register my brand new bike. Absolutely piss poor. Since others have pointed this out and they haven’t bothered to fix it it is a sure sign that future customer service for their product will be equally awful ## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Works perfectly for me (Nov 2020) *2020-11-21, version 2.0.7* I’ve just purchased a new Haibike in the Uk and as part of my order I wanted to add on the Haibike econnect GPS retrofit kit. I almost didn’t because: 1. The reviews on this app were mainly negative, and; 2. There was almost no reviews of the Haibike GPS kit online. I was very reluctant to order but the retailer assured me it would work as advertised or could be refunded, so I went ahead and added the GPS on. I can confirm that i’ve received my bike and everything has been set up as planned. No issues with the app itself (using iphone X on latest IOS) and the app connected to the bike/GPS as expected. It easy to set up using the included card. It’s tracking my location and is allowing me to alarm the bike as advertised. I received several notifications on my phone this morning when i moved my bike before i remembered to turn the alarm off, so that part works for sure. I’ve also added emergency contacts in case i crash but i’ve not tested that yet and hopefully don’t plan to anytime soon. I just wanted to leave this review in case anyone was wanting to do the same as me and was being put off by all the negative reviews. I can’t say it will work for everyone with everything, but it works perfectly with my Haibike and the retrofit econnect kit. Very happy so far!! ### 5/5 — Got my £6500 eBike back when it was stolen *2020-11-21, version 2.0.7* This app/tracking system was responsible for me getting my eBike back. There are better apps for navigation but as a tracker for theft I cannot recommend it more.
