Please fix this problem. ### 2/5 — App won’t open *2024-08-31* I have an older iPhone and now the app won’t even open. ### 2/5 — Forces volleyball and golf in my face *2022-10-01* This app is way too woke. I follow 4 sports (as a 50+ year state fan (I remember football coach Charles Shira). I do not remotely care about soccer, golf, track or volleyball. I set the app for the sports I like but it ignores my settings. I open the app and select football from the menu and still the first 4 items are: 1. A football story 2. A golf story (seriously???) 3. A volleyball story 4. An ad. I am over this app. UPDATE: Big football game today. First item on HailState (despite my preference settings) is volleyball. App is now deleted… ### 4/5 — Okay app *2020-09-26* The app is okay. It is hard to log in and I am not sure why we should log in. ### 3/5 — Needs to rotate *2020-02-18* It doesn’t rotate when I turn my iPad. Only views in the vertical position. ### 4/5 — Needs to stay updated *2019-12-08* I like using the schedule tracker in the app to keep up when we have different sporting events going on and if they are being televised. Sometimes it’s not available or not working correctly on days we don’t have sporting events. I like that the app lets you know if the event is televised and how to watch and same for radio broadcasts. We are budget minded and look for ways to listen or watch for free first or hope it’s part of our tv subscription. Also like the live game feed/updates offered through the app and on other social media accounts. ### 2/5 — Player info *2019-07-08* Can find info such as high school accomplishments, but cannot find info as simple as height. ### 3/5 — Still not good *2019-05-03* This app is slow and you have to go to way to many screens to get information you are looking for. ### 2/5 — Feb 2019 update needs work *2019-02-04, version 10.0.0* The new update is very own user-friendly. You open up a story and you have no idea that you need to scroll down to get the story to appear. The featured afford it does not always function. Schedule start with the beginning of the season rather than only posting from current till the future. I cannot find any of the rosters for any of the teams despite having a button at the bottom. Please fix this hail state update as many of us fans use it. Why is there no way to contact anyone at the University through the app anymore. The shopping out portion to hail state.com doesn’t even have a tab anymore. ### 2/5 — Not Real Impressed *2018-12-18* I have been less than impressed with this app over the years when compared to other SEC school apps in regards to up to date and comprehensive news. ### 4/5 — Pretty good *2018-11-04* It’s pretty good. This has been an issue for several days now. Loved the app until then. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2026-03-11* As an avid MSU fan, I’m embarrassed at the lack of development of this app in the age we are in. The fact that you’re sent to a third party website to listen to game audio that times out every 30 seconds (or however long your screen light is set) is 2015 problems. ### 1/5 — A bad app gets worse… *2025-03-05* Listeners can no longer pause live audio broadcasts to sync with TV, volume is low, and live audio stream drops constantly. ### 1/5 — Terrible playback of games *2022-11-27* This app is horrible if you want to listen to a game they has already taken place. There is now way to go straight to the game broadcast without clicking a very poorly placed fast forward button about 20,000 times to fast forward through the 2 hour pregame show. Good grief! Make it easier please! ### 1/5 — Awful app *2019-02-26* The latest update actually made this app useless. Not the first time that the changes to the app were for the worse. Deleted the app because it is not user friendly and lacks much of the information that I checked on a daily basis. The previous version let find me find everything in one place, so I now use multiple other sources for my hailstate information. We finally have one that seems to be comprehensive of all MSU sports, including schedules, news, standings and player/coach info. THANK YOU for finally getting this right. Now — just make sure the live updates / scores / radio feed work for games. It is easy to use and see what is going on. But this app can be really slow sometimes. I thought it might be my phone but I just upgraded phones and this app is just as slow. Sometimes it will cut off my audio in the middle of a game. Fix this and this will definitely be a five star review.
