### 2/5 — Have to pay

*2026-01-08*

Literally can’t use it without paying. What a waste.

### 1/5 — Very Disappointed

*2025-08-16, version 1.6.0*

I was expecting much more from this. Watching her videos and the multiple products she uses in her routine, but the routine it gave me was “shampoo, then heat protectant” if I followed this recommended routine my hair would be fried and broken in one day! one sure way to absolutely ruin my hair! Do not recommend.

### 3/5 — I can’t get full access to the products

*2025-07-03*

It’s convenient how this app tells you what hair type you have and what goals you want to achieve and I really want to search products that can work for my hair type … but… I have to pay money every month/year to get full access to the products and I just wish it was free access so that way it’s easier to search products without a problem or issues and I wish I was able to add products to my routine whether if it was wash day , clarifying wash day, styling or even heat styling. But other than that, I was able to change and adjust my hair type and what my scalp concerns are and what scalp and hair concerns is needed to be taken care of which is nice. 💖

### 1/5 — Can’t open my profile page

*2025-05-16*

Turns to a blank page and I have to exit

### 1/5 — less than one star is not possible

*2025-04-26*

app is not fully developed, isn’t made intuitively, not a lot of product recommendations

### 3/5 — Slightly disappointed

*2025-04-11, version 1.5.0*

I love watching her videos so much so when I heard about this app I was excited. I’m a little disappointed to find out that most of the features you have to pay for. I’ll still watch her videos.

### 2/5 — IMHO

*2025-03-31*

Looked promising since I just chopped my hair & all but let’s be real. I’m a SAHM with an almost non existent budget for myself and I can’t afford it. I’ll just stick to watching the creator on TikTok🤷🏻‍♀️

### 1/5 — Price.

*2025-01-27*

I was very excited to try this app, for many reasons (mainly being because I follow the influencer behind it) but the price is pretty high. She tends to show many products I’m able to afford compared to majority of hair care creators and I understand the side of creating the app may not be free. But just an opinion from your average day to day viewer for mainly being a tracker I believe the price is a little high and I wish I couldve seen what all the app entailed ..

(Will still follow her content💕)

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback! I'm excited to let you know that we now offer a free version of the app where you can use the tracker without a subscription. We also heard your concerns about pricing and have adjusted our paid plans to be more budget-friendly. We'd love for you to give the app another try and see what you think. Thanks for your continued support! 💖

### 1/5 — Pricing seems very misleading

*2025-01-23, version 1.2*

I was excited to try this app as I am trying to grow my hair, but unfortunately it seems to be paid only. There is no free version from what I could see. What really put me off was the misleading way they represent their pricing. There is a weekly 4.99 plan and a yearly 39.99 plan. If you try to exit from the screen where you select plans, a pop up appears asking if you want a lower starting price and suggests the 4.99 version over the 39.99 version, trying to portray the former as the more “inexpensive” option. However, 4.99 per week is around 260 dollars for the entire year! I find it off putting that they try to position this to the user as the “cheaper” option because of the low starting cost, but it’s overall way more expensive than paying annually. I don’t like this type of user experience, and I don’t want to support an app that uses this type of UX to manipulate people into spending more money. Maybe that wasn’t their intention, but it sure came off that way to me.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Worst hair app wish I could rate a 0 stars

*2026-05-02*

I go in to log in and is wanting me to get my signature and this is a scam and I’m like might be good and help me go through and help me once I log in but not can’t even scan is wanting me to pay after I did my signature and everything else terrible you’re just trying to give away information and all these reviews must be fake unless yall downloading the app and paying 30 dollars to scan one product the website almost looks ai the app looks ai and fake reviews if you are going to buy products buy based body works hair products save your life don’t need anything else just based

### 1/5 — Payments

*2026-04-21, version 2.3.0*

You have to pay for everything so disappointing.

### 1/5 — money hungry

*2026-04-02*

doesn’t function unless you pay

### 1/5 — Money Sink Hole

*2026-03-11*

This app makes you pay right off the bat. Then you get through everything and it won’t give recommendations unless you give the app more money… like just charge that up front! So far this just seems like a money grab.

### 1/5 — It is just selling stuff

*2026-02-13*

There is nothing specific to me. Just suggestions for 100 products.

### 1/5 — Paying to scan

*2026-02-13*

Not sure why this app needs payment to scan items.

### 1/5 — can’t do much without buying pro

*2025-12-17*

you literally can’t do anything without paying….would not recommend

### 1/5 — Atrocious

*2025-12-12*

I had to pay to SEARCH

### 1/5 — No match for curly hair

*2025-11-08, version 2.2.0*

Could not find any products for my curly hair. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to the outcome

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2025-09-19, version 2.0.0*

The app is free to download but that’s literally it. You have to pay to use every single feature on there. Don’t bother downloading it. You can do research for free online. Very misleading.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Yes

*2026-03-23*

Good product app and you don’t have to pay if you don’t want to

### 5/5 — Zoe

*2025-07-13*

Very good so far loving it

### 5/5 — Slay

*2025-07-09, version 1.6.0*

Slay haven’t tried it I’ll change it if my opinion changes and keep it and tell you guys more about the app if it works

### 5/5 — hair care

*2025-07-04, version 1.6.0*

i love it

### 5/5 — Never washing my hair again without this app

*2025-01-23*

Hair2hair makes everything about haircare effective and easy. I can see what products work and don’t work for my hair before even buying them. I can schedule my hair care routines so I’m actually consistent with it. A total game changer.

### 4/5 — Calificación

*2025-07-22, version 1.6.0*

Muy bueno

### 4/5 — It’s ok but could be better.

*2025-04-28*

This app is not meant for curly hair girlies like me who also like to have their straight from time to time. When my hair is straight my routine is much less minus the weekend.

Now when my hair is curly this app is life saver!!! I have a lot of steps for my curly hair to maintain it hydrated throughout the day and week.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2025-02-17*

This app motivates me to keep up my routine. I use the free version so I can't see any of the product recommendations, but overall I love this app!

### 3/5 — Never loading

*2026-03-23*

Would not load maybe my WiFi tho

### 3/5 — Hair 2 hair

*2025-09-11*

I’m loving the setup, I just need to only have products recommended to me that meet European beauty standards or are non toxic. American stuff has so many carcinogens!
