You can reac me at Peter@clientassistpro.com ### 2/5 — Too Expensive *2021-07-26, version 3.32* This was a good app and I was using it for several years but overnight they increased the monthly fee by 5x the original amount. They’ve added the ability to text and email customers from the app but no option for those who strictly use it as a simple database to continue without paying full price. Wish they had more options. Having less features at a lower price point and a Pro version would have made more sense for existing customers. BUT I will say that the support I received from the staff was excellent. It was prompt and they made it right and saved me as a customer. The apps developer Peter actually handled it personally and was even available at 10pm to facilitate the resolution of my issue with technical support. There really is no point having this app if I have to manually enter all of my clients information except for the name. I signed up for the cloud back up too. There is the option but it won't save when you select the given date ### 5/5 — Wishing I had this years ago; *2015-12-08, version 3.4.2* I've been a stylist for 35 years now, and I ask you, do you remember index cards, I do, but index cards can't do what this app is doing for my business, it's more that client organization, it's marketing, both by email or by text, it lets me know who hasn't been in a while. I can place my order with my sales consultant through the app and I now have a gallery of the past styles on each client I do. I back it all up on the cloud they feature, so it's on both my iPhone and my iPad, and I can't lose it. So long index cards. ### 5/5 — Hair assist has changed the way I do business *2015-11-03, version 3.2.0* I have used many hair apps over the years trying to find the best solution to all my client clutter but for some reason I always revert back to paper and pencil because the technology gets too confusing and too many steps but Hair assist is a quick easy way to keep all your clients most important information and edit or access easily at any time . I have even upgraded to the paid version. When they Upgraded the app I lost all of my pictures. Tried to get on it today to add a few more and now they’re holding my formulas hostage until I pay for a premium account. Then when I click the cheapest one, I get a “please wait” loading screen that doesn’t go away. Text messaging, emailing is really easy with the app. Write a note and click send. It’s that easy. I’m happy the price to use it has come down too. ### 5/5 — I’ve been a Hairstylist for 45 years *2024-09-11* I love that I can keep my pricing per client right at my fingertips. My color formula’s, I keep photo’s of my foil placement when doing highlights. Every client has there own personal file. If I need to market to my clients, I can choose to email or text my clients with either one text or email or I can choose who I want to communicate with. This is a great app, and if you run into issues, they always jump in to help. I love this app and all it has to offer. I have worked in salons from Arizona to 5th Avenue, and Madison Ave in NYC as well as freelance, and this app caters to the needs of a busy stylist. Hair Assist allows you to send out text messages and emails notifications to all your clients, which is great if your a stylist on the go. The customer service is great. If you have any questions, Peter is quick to respond. I sent him an email in regards to my account and I received an email that day. The great thing with this app, is that it cost less than a lunch or a drink at the bar to maintain your business with ease and have all your information save to a cloud. I see below that people are complaining that they have to pay for the app... As a hairstylist, I am pretty sure they dislike when people ask them to do their hair for free, so why should a company give their services away for free? Especially, when is app offers so many features. You must spend money to make money... and I’m pretty sure your Starbucks habit is more expensive than the one-time a month, monthly charge or this app... ### 5/5 — Owner *2018-10-24, version 3.19* I had a problem with this app after using it for a few months... the creators of the app did get back to me after a few days.. the app had changed... it was no longer a free app due to circumstances beyond his control.. I did not see the email I was sent. Long story short... I don’t like paying for apps.. he had no problem with my decision and he emailed all of my lost information back to me. He acted very professional and if you are one to pay for apps.. I would highly recommend using HAIRASSIST. I got this issue twice because of an update, I contacted the customer service and they answered me even on Sunday. I got my data back in less than 3 days. This is an great app, very helpful and well organized ### 5/5 — Update corrected! *2018-10-16, version 3.18* Ok everyone, I was a free user on here and thought I had lost all my info. after the update. I logged out and logged back in and e-mailed the guy and he got all my info back for me. The update had to happen apparently because the business was losing money. To his defense he said he e-mailed I believe close to 4,000+ people or so and only 200 had opened the e-mail. It probably went to peoples spam folders or something. Either way, I hope you all can be understanding and he can get it back for you. I’m giving this a 5 star review because he resolved the issue immediately, apologized, and explained the situation. I think it’s a great app and works wonderful now that I have all my info back lol. As a business owner I would have hated to be that situation and I think it took him off guard as well. I’m trying to be understanding and hopefully once you guys have all your info. back you will be too. Life happens.
