Super easy to use, with many hairstyles to try. I like uploading my own hairstyle and seeing how it looks on me. The bangs and color editor are my favorite.

I purchased this app with the hopes of using saved hairstyle photos to see what they looked like on me.  This feature did not work.  I tried opening the app on another device and it did not recognize me and asked for a password which was not required when I purchase it originally.
I requested a refund and was kindly told to go though apple to cancel.  I wanted a refund since I had only used the app for a few hours.  There is not an option for a refund through Apple…only to cancel the subscription. I emailed HairLook again and told them this and they never responded.

When you contacted our support team, we replied promptly to each of your emails (three replies in total) and provided steps to address the issues you described. If the app did not have access to your saved photos, this can be enabled through your device’s Settings. We also explained that when using HairLook on another device, you can use your restore your purchases and access your account.

Regarding the refund, we explained that Apple is the merchant of record for App Store purchases and therefore handles refunds directly. We provided the appropriate Apple refund process and also offered to continue working with you to get the app working as intended.

We take customer support seriously and respond to every customer who contacts us. It means a lot to us that more and more users trust HairLook to discover new looks, and it motivates us every day to keep improving the app and delivering a great user experience.

Doesn’t put the exact look chosen. Tweaks the look every time. For style it makes it that color of the picture chosen and not just the style. Annoying.

HairLook is designed to create realistic transformations rather than copying a reference image exactly, so some details may vary as we adapt the hairstyle to your own photo while maintaining a natural, realistic appearance. In some cases, the hair color from the reference photo can also influence the result. For example, blonde highlights or balayage from a very bright reference image may appear differently on a darker photo.

The air forces you to pay for a subscription for pro, it doesn’t really do anything great, just paste the hairstyle of your face. You could use free apps and have better results.

Takes a long time to load. There are not many options for hair styles. Most of them look the same. No way to adjust to your liking.

Beyond the gallery, you can use "Haircut Try-On" to explore styles while keeping your own hair texture and color, or use "Upload Any Style" to try virtually any hairstyle from a photo, giving you virtually unlimited possibilities beyond a fixed catalog.

You can also customize your look with our Hair Color and Balayage features, which use AI-powered color transfer to create realistic color transformations and effects.

As for processing time, HairLook generates photorealistic hairstyle transformations rather than simple filters, so results typically take 15–50 seconds to ensure a realistic and high-quality outcome.
