I quit using the app because the hairstyles all looked like something no one would ever wear, most of them looked ridiculous. But I tried using it again now, and the app works nicely But the hairdos and the colors are still pretty bad quality. May to be expected for .99 cents, so okay. The real issue is that I activated the 3 day FREE trial on Dec 16 and immediately cancelled after I got the .99 cent package of “drawings”. I got confirmation of cancellation of the trial, but a MONTH later received a charge for the .99 cents and ALSO a $41.24 charge I figure was four weeks of subscription at $9.99/week! That’s FRAUD as I cancelled the trial within the free window (in fact the very same day), so there was NO SUBSCRIPTION. I am dealing with it through my bank, but they’re giving me a ration of you-know-what because of the date discrepancy, which leads me to believe this was a deliberate attempt to make it look like I came back later and reactivated or something. Could use some newer styles, but does have a lot! *2025-04-08, version 3.9* This app is great if you are looking to get an idea of how a different hairstyle or color would look on your face. For people who say that the hair doesn’t fit, you can fine-tune each one by moving the hair around with your finger. It could use an update with some more newer styles, but it does have a lot (if you pay—but it’s not bad, see below). The hair color options are tricky and not perfect, but it is fine for getting an idea if you are considering a change. After looking at some AI apps, and feeling very uncomfortable with the lack of privacy (read the app descriptions before buying—they can access your personal info if they want), I was happy to find this developer, who does NOT take any of your info. Another plus is that the app does not distort your face or add make up or do anything weird like that like AI apps. My only complaint is that it sometimes closes the image before I’m done making edits and saving it because it’s too easy to tap an area that closes the image. A button to tap when you’re done would be better. It’s not going to give you a perfectly realistic image to use for a headshot or a dating app, but if you just want to see before you get a haircut, this is great!! You get 21 women’s styles, which isn’t a ton, it’s enough to at least see if long or short hair looks better on you. There are also a wide range of colors you can choose from to change the hair color on any style, and if a hairstyle isn’t sitting on your head right or you want to toggle it longer or shorter, you can drag your finger on the screen and mold the hairstyle any way you’d like. Some of the styles are a bit dated and the lighting won’t always match up, but there’s still plenty of palatable (although it all depends on personal taste) options available for free. It’s a great way to see which hair styles and colors suit you best. But I didn't see any ads which was wonderful. But for $5 you can buy all the packages and then have a lot to choose from. I feel it was worth it for $5 as it gives you a really realistic idea of what you will look like in different styles. A bad haircut can take months to years to grow out. And you don't have to be rich to pay $5 for an app that can save you from embarrassment for months. Don't buy a Starbucks coffee one day, and you've paid for the app. Although the exact style I was looking to try was not there (short bangs above the brows and long slightly wavy hair), there were some medium length that were close so I could get an idea and feel confident what my face will look like with that style. Some of the negative reviews seemed extreme. I agree they should just have it listed for $5 and not tout it as free, but the reality is, everyone wants something for free and may never look at this app or try it, if it had not been listed as free. And it did have free hairstyles so you could test out the app before actually paying out money. So if a person decided they didn't like how it worked, no loss. But if you like it, then pay for the extra options.
