## What is Haku?

Haku is a quiet place to write to the person you are becoming.

Write a letter to your future self, seal it, and choose when it should arrive. A day from now, a season from now, or a year from now, the waiting is part of the ritual.

When a letter arrives, open it with intention. Read what you thought, felt, and hoped for. Write back if you want to keep the conversation going.

Haku gives your memories room to travel:

- Write private letters and save drafts
- Choose a delivery date and follow each letter across its timeline
- Read delivered letters and reply to them
- Keep an eye on what is coming in Horizon
- Use widgets for the next arrival and countdown
- Read short essays about memory, time, and writing
- Use Haku on iPhone, iPad, and Mac

Your letters are protected by an encrypted local vault. iCloud sync helps keep them available across your Apple devices when you choose to use it. Haku has no ads, no subscriptions, and no paid unlocks.

Haku is made and maintained by one developer. It is free because it was made for a simple reason: the alternatives stopped feeling right. There is no pressure to buy anything and no business model built around your attention.

Write something worth meeting later.
