## What is HalfHeart?

HalfHeart is a private daily check-in app for couples and partners who want a simple way to stay emotionally connected.

Share one heart each day:
- Red when you feel close, loved, or connected.
- Black when something feels heavy, distant, or needs attention.

HalfHeart keeps the ritual small on purpose. Pair with one partner, check in privately, add optional context, and see both daily hearts in one shared history. The iOS widget keeps today's connection visible at a glance after you sync from the app.

Improved sharing and connection clarity:

• Invite links now clearly indicate the exact email address that must be used to join.  
• Email addresses are treated as case-insensitive (capitalized and non-capitalized emails are recognized as the same account).  
• An email address that is already connected to a partner cannot be used to connect with another user.  
• The selected reason is now displayed directly in the heart view, highlighted in the same color as the chosen heart.
