## What is Halfpast?

Welcome to Halfpast! A event-dating app designed to go away from "fast-food effect" of modern romance. We believe that "doom-swiping" leads to zero decisions, and even worse, to not building a connection nor a real in-person date. By replacing endless scrolling with closed, time-limited events, HalfPast goes more into intentionality, helping to make every connection more meaningful, and potentially closer to a real date in real life, which in the end, it the only thing that matters for a dating app built for you.

Seamless events: No more endless swiping. We offer you to join a curated, with properly chose people, event, for a more active, genuine "live" experience. You’ll be introduced to a small group of people who actually meet your preferences. All of you will chose who to talk with and see which conversations sparks more.

A meaningful choice: A match here is designed to mean something, and to not be cluttered by any "infinite choice freezing". You match only after a conversation, if you feel like the first spark is there. We believe that the effort and interest you already put to know each other will help even more to go to a date. From that moment, our work is done, and we hope to not see you again, after you found the right one :)
