### 5/5 — Peace of mind

*2026-08-12*

This app has given me great peace of mind. I no longer feel the urge to constantly check the Facebook page with the fire updates.

### 5/5 — A win for Halifax!

*2026-07-26*

The developer for this app is definitely ahead of their time; this is something that all cities should have for the sake of safety.

The app is incredibly well designed: intuitive, simple, and organized.

I especially appreciate that you can select what types of alerts you want to be notified of, as well as for which area(s) in HRM.

THANK YOU for this! I hope the city funds your efforts here.

New

• Share incidents as an image. Tap Share on any incident to generate a
clean, branded card with the map, address, and dispatch details, ready
  to post anywhere.
• Timeline view for the Live feed. A compact, dispatch-log layout that
fits far more incidents on screen. Switch between Cards and Timeline in
  Settings → Live feed.
• Following filter. Every incident you've asked to be notified about when
the cause is determined, now in one place. Open Filter → Following to
jump straight back to any of them, however long ago you flagged it.
• In-app support. Message the team directly and get replies without
  leaving the app.
• Remove Ads. The one-time purchase now clears sponsored posts from your
feeds as well as banner ads.

Improvements

• Wildfire & Burn has been redesigned: a clear "what's allowed today"
verdict up top, counties that share the same rule grouped into a single
line, and tapping an active wildfire now expands it in place instead of
  repeating the same card twice.
• Incident Insights now updates once a day, and tells you when it last
updated and when it updates next.
• The Profile tab is now Settings, with a cog icon.
• Cleaner, more consistent labels and buttons throughout the app.

Fixes

• Tapping a notification now reliably opens the incident it refers to.
