### 4/5 — App functionality

*2020-11-02, version 3.0*

One method that would greatly improve this app would be if you could put in the pressures you are needing to handle and the app could populate compatible tubing. If you could also open up the tables like they appear in the physical handbook, I believe that would greatly improve the value of this app!

### 4/5 — Red book

*2015-05-07, version 2.0.1*

Una herramienta muy útil
Para los especialistas de campo del área petrolera.

### 4/5 — Good app but....

*2014-11-28, version 2.0.1*

This app needs cement yields like the real redbook. Good app otherwise.

### 4/5 — Good App, Few Errors Though

*2013-10-22, version 2.0.1*

I recently noticed that the app displays joint & body strength in units of (lbs/ft). This is a little confusing because the paper copy of the red book shows them in (lbs) which make since. A strength in (lbs/ft) doesn't make since. Not sure how someone missed that. Hopefully it can be addressed in an update.

Good app otherwise.

### 4/5 — Canada support!

*2013-10-14, version 2.0.1*

I use this app everyday! Please bring back cubic meters for the Canadian folk!

### 4/5 — Good but needs updates

*2013-07-03, version 2.0*

Great app for the iPhone but needs to be updated to properly use the full screen on the iPhone 5. Calculations work great aside from that.

### 4/5 — Eredbook

*2012-08-01, version 1.0*

Very handy, for quick, basic info. Full version would use up a lot of storage. And is free app. Like it.

### 4/5 — Metric system???

*2012-05-05, version 1.0*

This is a great app but i suggest a metric system update

### 3/5 — Ok

*2012-03-29, version 1.0*

But wish it was the real redbook. Cemwell app is better designed.

### 5/5 — Student

*2012-03-26, version 1.0*

The app is a good use for making quick calculations. Excellent work

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Crashes on iPhone 13 Pro max

*2024-04-04*

App crashes and closes after clicking on Terms and conditions.

### 1/5 — Will not open

*2023-12-20, version 3.0*

It will not open on my new IPhone 14

### 1/5 — Haliburton Red Book

*2023-04-11, version 3.0*

New version will not open. For the love of God fix this thing.

### 1/5 — Unable to open app

*2023-03-21, version 3.0*

Down loaded app on phone, but can’t get it to open. Had this app for years and just quit working. Reloaded it on phone and won’t let me get into terms and conditions. Good app, I’d like to get it back. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

### 1/5 — Won’t open

*2023-02-02, version 3.0*

As soon as you try to open the app it crashes.

### 1/5 — Crash

*2022-09-25, version 3.0*

It crashes nonstop

### 2/5 — STP

*2012-08-25, version 1.0*

Not very handy outside of calculating volumes. Needs to include info that can't be calculated with conversion factors.

### 2/5 — Handy, but not complete, yet

*2012-05-26, version 1.0*

This app is great for figuring capacity, and simple wellbore info. I am in the Bakken, and need to figure mixed strings, and liners. This can't figure those wells. Stick with the eRed Book on the PC for wellbore details.

### 2/5 — A good start, but...

*2012-03-27, version 1.0*

Nice basic information and good for simple calculations. Not very handy if you work in mixed units though. For example, I work in meters for depths, inches and lb/ft for casing size. It would be nice to select what units I want to work in for each item, but as it is if I select the metric units I have to use meters, mm and kg/m. So you have to convert or memorize the different units now if you work in a mix units environment.

### 3/5 — Can’t calculate ID

*2024-01-05, version 3.0*

On the computer based version, you can select, or type in, an OD and type in weight and it would calculate the ID. With all the new connections and pipe weights out now, this app is not as utilitarian as it could be.

### 5/5 — Hole Sizes

*2016-12-12, version 2.0.1*
