It is so disappointing to have such a great game tarnished by glitches. I am all for trying to figure out what the puzzle is and all of the challenges, but when the mechanics don’t work leaving the puzzle useless, it is frustrating and disappointing. 2 glitches in particular (the expander in level 4 and the gears in the bonus level) do not work. Even verifying on you tube with walkthrough videos confirms the game is not working right. I had to reset and start over in order to use the expander, but i really don’t want to have to reset the bonus level. Worse yet, these ars glitches that have been reported for 2 years! Developer responds by saying they will fix, but clearly have not. You can make this game super by fixing these glitches!! **Developer response:** Hello! When I opt to play match-3 in any of the HO scenes, as soon as I match and thus clear the last of the highlighted boxes (removing the last object from the list at the bottom), the game suddenly freezes. I have to close out the game and it always restarts back at the beginning of the HO scene and I have to replay it. This happens every time I try to complete any HO scene in match-3 mode, regardless of which point I’m at in the game. HOWEVER, I can play match-3 and the game will NOT freeze as long as I do not complete it with match-3. So, I can play match-3 right up to only one highlighted box (and one object on the list) still remaining and as long as I switch back to the finding objects mode before completing the scene it will not freeze. The problem is only when COMPLETING a HO scene in match-3 mode. Hopefully my attempt at explaining this made sense. No issues other than just that one and it hasn’t prevented me from enjoying the game at all. Just figured you might want to be aware of the glitch. **Developer response:** Hello! The developer doesn’t always appropriate pronouns. They should have an editor check the text. Sometimes it hangs and I have to renter the game. After buying it, I never finished it. I said should! You know there’s a possibility it will be held up. Also Domini is aware of the quality assurance issues and technical problems and are hoping to have them under control by the start of the new year. November 14th Artifex Mundi will release Ghost Files 2, and Elephant just released a new game called Halloween Stories: Horror Movie. Thank you to the Domini team for your condolences! I’m keeping this review brief. The game was entertaining and the graphics were excellent, except for that pervasive overlay of green. Missemericanpie, they certainly weren’t pixelated and you need to get a dictionary to understand the word. You missed out on a wonderful game! There were some innovative HO scenes, and a few new puzzles. I didn’t experience any touch screen sensitivity issues, and felt that the quality assurance was way better than in the last few games. I did notice a mistake in the bonus chapter. The first mini-game had the wrong instructions! I couldn’t manipulate the gears but that was the only issue I found problematic. The game had interesting inventory usage and a plethora of tasks at each location. As per Domini, it was a decent length! My true rating will be 4.5 stars. I deducted the half star due to the mistake in the bonus chapter. The beta testers should have caught it. Happy gaming, everyone! Over the next 5 days we have 3 new games, so enjoy it because that situation rarely occurs. It started really well, not it’s keeps freezing on a particular hidden puzzle.l have delete & reinstalled the game, it keeps freezing in the same puzzle. That’s why I give 1 star,I use to get this with Big Fish games. All these gaming apps are all the same. ### 2/5 — Problem *2023-07-25, version 1.2.5* The game played fine until I paid for it. The cutaway scenes started to go very dark and I could hardly see what was going on. I tried the unticking of the special effects in the option area but it made no difference. I re-download in case a glitch has occurred, it hadn’t. The darkening of the screen is very intermittent and ruins what looks like a good game.
