She had to always stay in her kennel when I wasn’t there and my dad wouldn’t let her inside. It is WAY too hot to leave her in the garage like he expects me to do, so I bought her this collar and it’s the happiest she’s EVER Been. But issue after issue now. Collars don’t charge, halo keeps giving us messages saying collars are defective and can’t be used till replacement is sent. Wish we had tried one before we got all three. I guess if they work they are good but ours so far have been not working. With her Halo collar on, I can be sitting at my desk working or even talking with a patient, and I only have to look down at my phone (with Halo app up) and know exactly where she is at, at all times. My golden learned quickly how to use it, the app was easy to build fences and program. But there will be times I look at the app and it shows my dog on one side of my property whenever she is on the other. Or it will just go offline. I have very few trees and large open fields, so I know that’s not the problem, and I always put in on as per the instructions to ensure the antenna is in the right position ### 1/5 — Don’t recommend *2026-08-24, version 2.13.0* Halo has been very inconsistent. My poor dog can’t figure out where the boundaries are because apparently halo can’t either. Some days he get corrected laying next to the house and other days he runs out of the boundary with no correction at all it’s pretty much complete crapshoot.
