### 2/5 — Priming issues

*2024-05-19, version 2.2.0*

Still takes too much effort and time just to get a good connection, even after saturation of the nubs and a wet head.

### 3/5 — App doesn’t find paired headset anymore

*2023-10-09, version 2.2.0*

I’ve paired and unpaired the headset several times yet the app says it can’t find the headset even though the icon on the app says it’s connected. This is terribly disappointing for such an expensive product.

### 4/5 — Connectivity is mildly infuriating.

*2022-10-14, version 2.2.0*

I love this unit and understand it’s a newer tech but the connection is an issue if I move at all.

### 3/5 — Company just says sayonara

*2021-04-15*

No back up service. No customer service to help with trouble shooting. Cant buy the liquid to keep node connective. Once that connectivity reduces you gotta spemnd a half hour just trying to connect. Ive made it work dumping a bucket of water on my head

### 2/5 — Works sometimes

*2021-02-23*

This is a terribly inconsistent device. It’ll have a hard time getting good contact for no reason. I can literally have water running down my face it’s so soaking and have both hands pressing the band to my skull and it’ll have moments of ‘having a hard time getting a good connection’ get stuck at 99% and then finally restart - all while I have not moved or changed anything at all whatsoever. I literally am as physically still as I could ever be as a living breathing being.

I would never recommend this device to anyone nor would I ever risk moving let alone working out while using it. However, assuming the claims of hyper plasticity are true it’s still worth me suffering through it even if it’s rather terrible in every other aspect.

Also, the sound quality is not good on the headphones.

### 2/5 — Poor connection

*2020-12-21, version 2.1.13*

I soak the electrodes for 60secs prior to use and get what I feel is a great scalp contact, but the device runs in cycles of Poe connection throughout the neuroprinting

### 2/5 — Not really impressed.

*2020-12-09*

I’ve had the Halo2 for about a year. It has always been difficult to get “good contact”. And I virtually no hair to speak of top of my head. I tried for many weeks to get something out of this product and gave up. I attempted using the product again over the past two weeks. The neuroprimimg process is till as frustrating as it ever was. 4-6 attempts soaking the electrode nibs, wetting my scalp, etc... This Halo 2 starts and stops dozens of times during each neuropriming session. If I take a bandana and strap it over the headset and below my chin, I can get reasonable contact, but it becomes painful after 10-15 minutes. So far, not impressed.

### 2/5 — Almost impossible to get it to connect

*2020-06-19, version 2.1.13*

I really want this to work so I spend 5 minutes soaking each nub but it only connects 10% of the time it’s way too experience so such poor usability. I don’t recommend it

### 2/5 — Halo Primer keeps dropping contact

*2020-05-19*

I really liked these at the start, but lately it’s been very frustrating. Like many, I have an awful time with connection and the primer band. Drops and reconnects literally every 3 seconds. My real issue is lack of support. Multiple unanswered emails and just automated replies saying they are behind. It doesn’t take 3 weeks to get a simple answer or even the courtesy of a reply. I give the headphones 4 stars and the customer support 1 Star (because I can’t give it a zero!).

### 2/5 — Pairing

*2020-05-17, version 2.1.13*

The device does a poor job connecting with the phone

It’s the only device that I have that seems to have this problem

### 2/5 — Needs work

*2020-04-23, version 2.1.13*

The concept is good but the execution is so bad. It is like gilding a lily to get the app and the device to work together; with a specific process that m/b followed to the letter & sequence to get it to work! Then staying connected is another whole gut twisting adventure. And if you start and then it stops and you have to start over, the app won’t start a session again until the next day! It gives you the option but it won’t actually do it....madness!

### 1/5 — Great idea not so good execution

*2020-03-30, version 2.1.13*

I’ve had this for a few months and in the beginning everything seemed great. But the connecting band with the water soaked nibs wears down and you need to soak them completely to a point where you are soaked. Today it took three soakings to be able to finish my 30 minute priming session. The customer support is unresponsive.

I want my money back.

### 1/5 — Won’t pair

*2020-03-24, version 2.1.13*

My headset won’t pair with phone anymore. It used to pair just fine, but now there is nothing I can do to get them to work. This is really disappointing because I really enjoyed working with them.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Too bad about contact points

*2022-03-20*

I have had my Halo for about 18 months. I am continually frustrated by how much pressure the fully saturated contact points require for neuropriming. It is virtually impossible for me to engage in any activity, even just sitting, without having to apply pressure on the headset band with my hands to maintain effective results. Hardly as illustrated in your misleading dramatizations. What to do? I can’t change the shape of my noggin, now can I?

### 1/5 — Poor connectivity for Halo Sport

*2021-10-10, version 2.1.13*

Pls address.

### 1/5 — Pairing issues

*2021-02-10, version 2.1.13*

Can only get it to pair with an iPad. No longer pairs with my phone.

### 1/5 — Very poor connectivity

*2021-01-11*

It’s my second primer and it is really hard to get it to connect.
I wish they would just refund my investment

### 1/5 — I wish this worked

*2020-12-03*

My first headset had a problem and it was replaced by the company. The new headset also has problems. As everyone else mentions, getting connection is problematic. My head is currently soaking wet as I’m trying to get good connection. Neuropriming begins and immediately stops giving a loud beeping sound into my ears, no way to turn it down. As a musician, the amount of water that drips down from this headset is problematic since it drips into my instruments. I wish this worked. The promise of this technology is amazing, the reality is disappointing. I’m not wealthy and this was a big expense. Halo sport, please offer a solution

### 1/5 — Scam - stay away

*2020-09-28, version 2.1.13*

Since the last firmware upgrade the device ceased working. Support is non existent.

### 1/5 — Ugh

*2020-07-18, version 2.1.13*

Does not keep contact even after soaking the leads. Needs to be more consistent and easy

### 1/5 — Can’t connect

*2020-07-05, version 2.1.13*

Worked first few times then was a complete nightmare at connecting. Not worth getting.

### 1/5 — Pairing issues iPhone 11

*2020-06-09, version 2.1.13*

I had my halo neuro 2 for one month and a half everything was working perfect, but one day just stopped working. Bluetooth headphones are able to pair but not the neuropriming halo 2. I been looking for help but they just send me instructions which I did thousands of times already and nothing seems to help.
Does any one have the same issue?

### 1/5 — Stopped Pairing, No response from support

*2020-04-15*

Paired once with an iPhone XS Max running iOS 13.3.1 (latest currently) but now consistently refuses to pair. Have followed the instructions on Halo’s website with no luck. Tried deleting and reinstalling the app, reset network settings, hard reset of the phone. Nothing works. Emails to support have gone unanswered for a couple of days. Hoping support can help sort this out or will have to return the unit.

Very disappointed.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — I have owed 4+ headsets

*2024-07-03*

I can’t get enough of this revolutionary and slept on piece of equipment I use to enhance my training and daily routine. I’m big into developing myself further as a man and this tech really gives additional focus over time if you lean into it everyday. Find them on OfferUp and make sure they work before you order. Then get ready to rock your world! I would use 75 hard challenge app along side this for the accountability.

### 5/5 — The whole app disappeared from Apple Play Store

*2024-02-20*

It was unavailable to download… Like it wasn’t there at all… Like even in (Not in device) or (Past downloaded Apps.) Your Team needs to Fix Quality Updates like important stuff… Like Password Reset issues… Like putting in your email so it can be reset… Or even Verify Phone Numbers… Or signup with Phone Number… Because Nowadays if Somebody Steals my headphones just anybody could use my phone or app and download it to there device… Without Security it’s a big risk because anybody could just take them now… Or even throw them away in the Garbage without permission… Or if they can be registered with the device… With a serial number linked to their account that be great… All that it would take is a firmware update to all devices… that would have a serial number linked to there account… I need security in my Life to keep these headphones from getting in the wrong hands without permission… And I need to be able to rename them on Apple devices…

### 5/5 — Works great!!!

*2023-01-30, version 2.2.0*

Very good experience!!!

### 5/5 — Battery Issues

*2023-01-23, version 2.2.0*

Battery is s not charging fully. How do I get the batteries replaced?

### 5/5 — Wish I could get replacement primer strip!

*2022-03-26*

Love my Halo! So disappointed that they stopped production and replacement parts…I am still getting some use out of it as the little nobs fall off one by one. I get good connection with soaking the primer I have in salt water

### 5/5 — Audio only after working just fine

*2020-12-12*

I bought Halo2 after hearing about it on Dave Asprey's podcast in the fall 2019. After a couple months and an iOS update to my iPhone XMax, my Halo2 connects Audio only. I downloaded the app on my wife's iPhone X and my son's iPhone 11 to see if the audio only Bluetooth connection existed. The Halo2 connected to the app on those iPhones for audio and neuro. There are a few prime band nibbles with the gray rubber torn , exposing the black plastic ends underneath.

### 5/5 — Freaking absolutely amazing

*2020-06-13, version 2.1.13*

Every time I use them it’s like I get 3 work outs in one

### 5/5 — I think they fixed the software

*2020-01-28, version 2.1.11*

Before pairing to the iPhone was a pain in the butt. Now it seems to be working well. Thank you

### 5/5 — Infinite Possibilities

*2019-11-04, version 2.1.9*

Truly enjoying the possibilities that now, seem probable. I would love to see what’s next? Golf is artfully scientific seeking balance in lines and curves. Thanks for creating and moving the world forward together. #msteingolf

### 5/5 — Great, when it works

*2019-10-19*

Very difficult to maintain contact through a complete session. Needs improvement.
(Response to developers comment follows)
When you contact support you get the same set of instructions, over and over. ( as repeated here) Do you think I’m a moron? I preordered this product and have had it since first wave of shipments.

I’ve read the instructions and followed them carefully, still cuts out 3-7 times per neuropriming session. Your product is awesome. However, it is flawed, now the nibs are breaking up. Fix it

**Developer response:** Hi Fogbert, Thanks for the update and we apologize for the inconvenience. We're so sorry to hear that some of your Primer band's nibs are damaged - that's not good! This kind of damage is covered under our product warranty, so we will be happy to replace your Primer band for you. Please dispose of (and do not use) your damaged Primer band. To get you back up and running with your headset as quickly as possible, we will go ahead and send out a new Primer band for you within one week. First, can you please provide us with your order number and the full name on your order? Thank you. Apologies again for the trouble here. We're looking forward to getting you back up and running with Halo Sport 2! As soon as your replacement Primer band is shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information. We look forward to your reply. Kind regards, Jason
