I also assumed the 10 bucks would activate the "Explanation" button....why the he-- is it there???  Another clear example of hams ripping off other hams.  Very sad indeed IMO.

Paying $9.99 seemed worth it when I saw they had a button for "Explain." It turns out that "Explain" simply gives the correct answer, without any type of explanation. I thought there would be a brief explanation that would help with the exam, but that's not the case. So for either no charge or just a few dollars you can get a Extra test prep app that is as good or better.
I would not recommend this app for $9.99.

The Pro version is not worth $9.99. I expected the "explain" button to actually give an explanation like the ARRL study book and not just the answer.  I think it's deceiving. Overall I like the format and functionality but without the explanations the price of the upgrade is too high

I used this app to study for the exam. It has a clean interface and works very well. The questions are downloaded to the device so you can prep without being connected to the net.
