But is only a Phone App, it is such a Shame that it does not work in Mac Computer, its really a Shame. Such a good tool to study and it only can be used in a iPhone and not a apple computer. If it wasn't for that, i would happily give it a 5 star. ### 3/5 — Functionality Great *2021-02-02* Functionality of the app is great. The ability to see where one’s weaknesses are located, history, the ability to have the answers jumbled as compared to the actual test questions is great as I believe this gives the best of both worlds, having the questions and making on think. My only criticism and it is perception on my part at this time, I have taken about a dozen tests and seem to get a lot of repeat questions, especially those that I have gotten correct. With a pool of over 300 questions, I would think each test exam would be more unique. I may be missing something but that is my perception. **Developer response:** Hello and thanks for the feedback. The study apps are coded to not repeat questions in any group until all questions in that group have been used. For example, if a group has 11 questions, a question will not be repeated until the 12th test. If a group has 14 questions, they will not be repeated until the 15th test and so on. Note that there are several questions that are very similar so it may appear they are being repeated. IMPORTANT: Do not reset test history as test history is what is used to figure out what questions have been used. However I’d change one thing. When you get a question wrong, it’d be awesome if it would give a simple explanation as to the correct answer. Still a good app though. It grades you on each section so you know what section you need to work on. ### 4/5 — It’s all there. *2019-10-06* If you’re disciplined enough to study the material on your own then this app has it all. I originally dl’d the free version and thought for a few bucks more I could get the whole thing. I ended up taking a one day crash course that had food and drinks and included the test fee all for $35. I scored a 34 out of 35 which one of the proctors said was “like a perfect score.” Anyway, I digress. This app is still good prep and can be used as a reference guide for the future and will help if I want to get my general class license. ### 4/5 — Very Good, could be a bit better *2019-06-09, version 2.9.3* Is very good and works well. Only gave 4 stars because IMO it could you a bit of improvement. Or it wasn’t obvious how to do what I would like. I studied for a couple of weeks before the exam and I received an excellent score! I used both the Technician and General exam prep apps and I took both exams today, back to back and passed both with great results. I just purchased the Amateur Extra app for the exam next month. I highly recommend this app! ### 5/5 — 10/5 stars AMAZING APP *2025-06-19, version 3.2.0* This app got me to pass technician test 30/35 questions with really poor study habits. It has a unique way of doing green orange red scoring for parts of the test you’re not as good at incentivizing better performance. The % proficiency that shows in each section after you take practice exams is amazing and an incredible feature! I will use this for my future license upgrades for sure. . . Though I’d like to see a discount on the upgrades after purchasing previous elements. Other than that I think it’s an amazing app. The last 16 practice tests are over 90% and I feel confident I’ll pass the test when I take it in a few days! A word of advice: start by going through ALL of the question pool questions. Then move onto practicing ALL of the question pool questions, THEN take the practice tests. Don’t jump ahead to practice tests after reading a book through section 4 and going through a few question pool practices. Take the time to see every question in the pool, then run through practicing every question in the pool and THEN take the practice test. The app is ordered that way for a reason. Use it that way and you’ll get better results quicker than if you try to jump ahead. I was able to slightly jump ahead due to electronics knowledge from making my own circuit boards, but after that, I really had to make sure to see every question. This app is amazing for that. . .
