### 5/5 — Hands down the best portable logger

*2025-09-07, version August '25*

Sebastian and crew knocked this out of the park and it only gets better with each update. For the POTA/SOTA/whatever portable operator this is no questions asked the best portable logging app out there.

### 5/5 — Le Top

*2025-07-27, version July '25*

Absolument rien à reprocher. Le top pour toutes les sortie RA. Inscription des QSO, export, tout est top. Mention pour la carte en temps réel des contacts.

### 5/5 — Awesome!!!!!!

*2025-06-26, version July '25*

Awesome logger. My go to now

### 5/5 — Great app with amazing UI

*2025-06-01, version May '25*

Like many OMs, it’s become my goto app for logging while outdoor, or even at home for a quick QRZ lookup of a callsign.

The UI/UX is really great and intuitive, we can see that it’s been designed by hams for hams.

Not sure I could do better if I had to design a logging app myself.

Keep up the amazing work !

### 5/5 — Amazing App

*2025-04-01, version March '25*

This is an amazing logging app. Likely will become my permanent POTA and WWFF logging tool.

### 5/5 — There is no comparable portable logger out there

*2025-03-08, version February '25*

I’ve used every portable logging method imaginable, paper, laptop, mobile phone, tablet. I’ve run 1000s of contacts through half a dozen logging apps and nothing compares with the simplicity and feature-rich logging experience of PoLo. The dev support is real-time and actively working with the community to expand and resolve the application.

### 5/5 — As good as paper!

*2025-02-23, version February '25*

As fast and easy as paper, which is to say this is the first app for logging that I have found that works reliably and fast enough to replace paper for me when out doing POTA.

### 5/5 — Im sold! Hands down best logging app

*2025-01-01, version December '24*

I have tested this app extensively this year 62 Pota activations , 34 SOTA activations. Everything has worked flawlessly. I particularly like the self spotting function which keeps me from switching back and forth in apps. It is also very easy to add multiple parks/summits for P2P 2fer, 3fer etc. The map also registers the QSO’s well which is one reason why i got away from hamrs. Well done!! KD2YEW “Hardcore Ham”

### 5/5 — best logger app

Zero complaints plus its free. an option to auto upload to qrz would be icing on the cake.

This is the best ham radio logging app !! Great !!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Ham2K PoLo’s weaknesses are not basic concept or adoption; they are operational maturity issues

*2026-07-08, version June '26*

It is mobile-first, desktop-light, dependent on external services, still changing quickly, still producing active bug reports, and not yet a complete all-in-one radio/logging automation system. For serious field use, the main risks are update regressions, sync confusion, stale offline data, export friction, ADIF duplicate handling, and lack of deep rig/FT8/desktop automation.

### 1/5 — Ham radio operator

*2025-08-14, version August '25*

Nice program but it locks up as you starting to log a call in.

### 2/5 — No SOTA spots

*2024-07-20, version July 2024*

I selected Summits On The Air but when I click Spots, I only see POTA spots. I don’t even have Parks On The Air selected. Otherwise, the app interface is nice.

### 3/5 — No power, high, low, qrp

*2025-09-17, version August '25*

I can’t find a method to set power. Also I was going to use this for the first time this weekend and cannot find the Washington salmon run.

### 3/5 — Great app

*2024-12-23*

Works well and is regularly updated. My go to app for pots/SOTA/wwff

### 4/5 — Great app

*2025-02-20, version February '25*

Works well and is regularly updated. My go to app for pots/SOTA/wwff. It just keeps getting better

### 4/5 — Great start to a portable logger

*2024-06-08, version 0.7.7*

Please add more of the ham band where we have allocations. Also no AM? I am on 220, 900 and 1.2 gig. My friends are on 2.4 and 5gig. It is VHF contest weekend. I love the spot feature and think it will be very useful! I am sure it will keep getting more features as time goes on.

### 5/5 — Super portable logging S/W

*2026-07-27, version July '26*

Using for 2 weeks now - mainly POTA and it syncs between iPad and iPhone seamlessly. I export the data to MacLogger DX. Very impressed

### 5/5 — Best Mobile Logger

*2026-07-25, version July '26*

I’ve tried them all and Ham2k PoLo is the best mobile ham radio logging software around. Sebastián and team have added so many great features while never compromising the simplicity of the logging process, which is why I always come back to this app. Also, their customer support is stellar! 73, W1RMW

### 5/5 — The Best for Portable Loggin

*2026-07-20, version July '26*

This is absolutely the best for portable logging when out and about. It is much easier to use my cell phone or iPad than bringing a laptop computer. The only downside of this program is the inability to read the freq. and mode from the radio. However, I mostly use it for POTA activations as an activator of which I typically run a freq. Therefore, no need to read the radio. Hunting POTA stations is super easy with the spots feature. Just click and everything is updated in the log. Definitely would recommend this to other POTA operators.

## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best POTA logging software

*2026-07-09, version June '26*

By far the best.

### 5/5 — Works great on the Mac too

*2026-03-21, version February '26*

If you are used to Ham2K on the iPhone or iPad, download it on your Mac… works great!

### 5/5 — Absolutely the best choice for POTA

*2026-02-25, version February '26*

This lightweight app is perfect for POTA (or any ?OTA). It manages all the important aspects of an activation so you can concentrate on making calls. There is an indispensable call stacking feature that makes handling pileups a blast. At the end of the activation all of the pertinent logs are able to exported for importing into your main log, LoTW, and the POTA website. Hands down the best choice.

### 5/5 — Superb app for logging

*2025-12-20, version October '25*

This is a great app for logging whether it is just general QSOs, or POTA, SOTA etc. I use this for all my activations, I use it to view who has been spotted, and for other qsos. I then export the adif file from this app and upload to QRZ, EQSL, POTA ETC. Great app.

### 5/5 — Love this logging app!

*2025-12-18, version October '25*

If you activate popular schemes such as Bunkers on the Air, POTA etc then this app makes logging QSOs quick and easy! It works as a great logger for a busy session in the shack too. Once set up, caller’s names are displayed almost instantly so you know who you’re having a QSO with. It comes with a built in mapping function as well, so you can plot where all your contacts are visually. Great app and free too, but please support the developers so they can keep making it even better.

### 5/5 — Wow!

*2025-11-09, version September '25*

What a great app! For now this is my one and only logger. When used in landscape mode on an iPhone it even shows an adjustable split screen! Amazing!

### 5/5 — BEST POTA SOTA logger

*2025-09-14, version August '25*

I’m a QRP CW op but also states using this app when I’d log lots of SSB QSO. This app is hands down the best logger. Loads of feature and it continually grows and gets better and better. Sebastian, the developer understands what we need and does a great job at creating the solution. Cheers DE W3GTR
