### 1/5 — Have to open app several times to see alerts

E V E R Y time I receive an alert, I click the notification and it automatically closes and goes to my Home Screen. Then I click the app and wait. Typically I have to manually open the app 3 times before I can click the red banner and see the message. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app but it did not help.

It seems unbelievable that an Hamilton County EMA would re-transmit such a poor transmission from NOAA radio.

But this is such a buggy app. It would be incredibly useful if it worked properly. I can rarely get the app to open and any time the app sends me an alert, the app won’t open when I click on the alert.

After the fifth notification for flood warning in an hour and a half I turned off all notifications for the app- completely nullifying the need for the app at all.

While I appreciate the alerts, I’m beyond frustrated with the issues that randomly started a month or two ago. EVERY single time that I click on an alert, there is NO option to return to the main menu. I have closed and reopened the app and have even turned my phone off and back on in hopes of clearing or “resetting” it. I have even varifued that I have the latest updated version and my iPhone is also current on Apple’s last software update. Nothing works. So I am forced to delete this app and reinstall it EVERY time I wish to return to the main screen. Please fix this issue!

I wish I could choose the notifications I’m interested in receiving. For example, I want alerts about things like tornadoes but not flood warnings. All the non-critical notifications are obnoxious and too frequent, so I end up turning off all notifications.
