### 2/5 — Really disappointed.

*2025-12-02, version 0.22*

I wish I knew the state of this game before I spent money on it. I’m more peeved that the game looks fun. I saw their “gameplay” on YouTube and it looks much more flushed out. 30 minutes into the game and not even a night/day cycle. Plus if you get no ads you have to watch ads to get full food and rest, and you can’t stock pile on food either. If you have 3 food, all the food get consumed. Furniture doesn’t save either. There’s so much wrong with this game. I hope it gets fixed, I really wanted to play it.

### 4/5 — Fun little game

*2025-11-23, version 0.22*

Not much more to it than what it says, but it’s good to kill a few minutes and the gameplay is interesting enough. I like it.

### 5/5 — Empfehlenswert

*2025-11-18*

Das Spiel kann ich nur empfehlen damit kann man echt seine Zeit verbringen

### 5/5 — Building

*2025-11-18, version 0.22*

It’s a good building game

### 5/5 — Best app

*2025-11-18*

Hammer & Steel Idle Business offers a simple, engaging idle management experience where players grow a construction-themed company. You buy equipment, upgrade machinery, and expand production to earn passive income. The graphics are clean, and the progression feels satisfying. However, the gameplay can become repetitive, and frequent ads may interrupt the flow for free users.

### 5/5 — Best App

*2025-11-18, version 0.22*

Hammer & Steel is a fun and immersive little game where you manage your own medieval forge. The gameplay is relaxed and enjoyable, even if there are a few minor bugs. A good experience for a pleasant time.

### 5/5 — HS

*2025-11-11, version 0.22*

I like the graphics of the game it’s very rich for such a game, the craftsmanship concept is awesome and the game is in different languages

### 5/5 — Best game app

*2025-11-07*

Hammer & Steel: Idle Business is a fun blacksmith management game where you craft weapons, hire workers, and expand your forge empire. The medieval theme and idle progress make it relaxing yet rewarding. However, ads and slow upgrades can frustrate players. Overall, it’s enjoyable for casual gamers.

### 2/5 — Seems fun

*2025-11-05, version 0.22*

The game has been fun so far but an issue is that anytime I eat a meal, it eats all of my meals instead of 1. There really is no reason to stock up considering that it does no good.

An issue I will say is that the amount of ads is absurd. I understand that given the game is free that there will be ads and that’s fine but the amount of ads that pop up is crazy.

### 5/5 — Addictive game

*2025-11-04, version 0.22*

Hammer & Steel is an addictive crafting adventure where you rise from a humble smithy to a legendary blacksmith empire. Every swing of the hammer feels rewarding as you forge powerful swords, shields, and artifacts that bring your workshop to life. With deep progression, smart upgrades, and idle gameplay that keeps your forge running nonstop, it’s the perfect mix of creativity and strategy.

### 1/5 — Scam - No DLC

*2026-05-29, version 0.22*

This game has barebones mechanics. Microtransactions in app. The basic loop is just mining ore, turning it to bars, and using the anvil. The DLC can be paid for but it doesn’t give you anything.

It could actually be a decent game if the devs would finish it to what the game description indicates. It is about 1-10th done by the looks of it. Has been this way for several months based on other reviews.

### 1/5 — I had high hopes.

*2026-05-07, version 0.22*

5/6/26 Still doesn't work on iPad. If I'm missing something I would be grateful to know what that is.
11/2/25 I was happy to see an update. However, it didn't solve my problem.
Unfortunately, I can't even get 5 minutes into playing before it is unplayable. The words at the bottom cover things I guess I need, they won't go away no matter what I do. I have gotten as far as it asking me to buy more ore, but I can't get to the button to do that because there are words over it. I think.. Not sure because I can't see what's under the words. I'm on an iPad. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, didn't help. I'll check back in case there is an update, but for now there's not much I can do.

### 1/5 — Completely Unplayable

*2025-11-12, version 0.22*

During the tutorial after closing the shop the text covers the shop button making it impossible to open and continue the tutorial, let alone the game itself

### 1/5 — Weird control and disappeared furniture

*2025-11-11, version 0.22*

I donnno where is my bed is gone, and no interface instruction. and spend 2 meals weird…

### 1/5 — Poorly made.

*2025-11-10, version 0.22*

Riddled with bugs, a poor UI, and even forced ads to slap me in the face.

### 1/5 — Riddle with Ads

*2025-11-09, version 0.22*

The game is quite literally unplayable because of forced ads every 10 seconds. They also prevent you from actually playing.

### 1/5 — Nope

*2025-11-07, version 0.22*

I will never support a game that has ads before the tutorial is over. I’m always more than happy to pay for ad free; but not if the dev is going to be that greedy.

Edit: Apparently devs have raised the price of no ads from .99 to 3.99 and as they say in their review responses this game is very much still under development. Again, greed.

### 1/5 — Do not buy anything from it

*2025-11-05, version 0.22*

The DLC do not currently work so don’t pay for a game that has a feature that scams you.

### 1/5 — BUG

*2025-11-02*

J’ai ouvert le jeu et 5min après je peux plus y jouer car me demande de cuir 5lingots que je n’ai pas. A améliorer car énormément de potentiel
