I got back on today & I’m back to unlocking the top house but the furniture I put there last night is already there. I lost furniture in every single part of the game, staff, diamonds, legit probably 5 hours worth of playtime totally gone so now I don’t even want to do it all over again. ### 1/5 — Fun *2025-12-21, version 1.15.0* The game is really fun ### 1/5 — No cloud save but has many in app purchases! *2025-12-06, version 1.15.0* The game can be fun in short bursts but beware. There is no cloud save, if you get a new phone all purchases and progress is lost. Because of this I am no longer playing it. Unfortunately I already spent some money. ### 1/5 — Music is annoying *2025-09-08, version 1.14.0* The music is annoying and I don’t see an option to turn it off. Deleted the app within minutes of playing. ### 1/5 — No Cloud Save and Binding *2025-08-31* Let’s talks about the bad first: Game crashes after playing awhile and you lose your progress. The ads range from 10 seconds to 1.5 minutes long. Ads button are not responsive at times to cancel. Sometimes I claim rewards without watching an Ad it will force you to watch an app. The biggest problem is no cloud saving, and can’t bind to your Apple ID or other forms of account. So if you lost your device or damaged it, your game has to start over from zero. The mini games sometimes has no sound after playing for awhile and especially with after watching an Ad. This is a huge problem with the pond whistle mini games because the sound of whistle helps out a lot. The Good: definitely cute, this game offers the cozy vibe and if you are not in a hurry to build your inn this game can be played as F2P for sure. As someone who likes cozy games, relaxed and laid back pace this is good. Make sure that your Operating System is updated to the latest version and that you have enough memory on your device. ### 1/5 — Pop up ads that you can't skip *2025-05-15, version 1.12.1* I only played for about 30 min and *already* they started forcing pop up ads that you can't skip. When you do an activity, they give you two options: a) claim your reward or b) 2x reward by watching an ad. This is actually a lie because they still force you to watch an ad when you choose the first option. Absolutely unethical and dishonest so nah, no thanks. It was an instant delete for me. ### 1/5 — APP GLITCHING *2025-05-09, version 1.12.1* when trying to triple your tips you are given the option to watch an ad to do so, more often than not their AD cycle will be extremely long and glitch to the point where you cannot exit after completing and redeem your rewards. so they trick you into doing it again and again and again. extremely irritating and disappointing. ### 1/5 — Could have been good *2025-04-17, version 1.12.0* It’s a very cute game. But after only a few days, the unwanted guest is making me want to leave the game. They come so often and it takes so many taps to make them leave that it’s physically uncomfortable. And in the mini games that they have where you can earn extra rewards, even if you choose to just collect your rewards and not watch an ad to get more, IT STILL PLAYS THE AD. Which just makes me righteously angry which is not what I should be feeling while playing a cute game. I have only played a few days, but at this point the cons are outweighing the pros. I’ve made lots of money and I have so many new customers and staff too! Also a lot of games that are cute or relaxing often have A LOT of ads but guess what? Hamster inn doesn’t have as much annoying ads that pop up every five minutes and it really only comes up when u want to watch an ad to get something (like 2x seeds or smthn) or an ad comes up after like 30 minutes or an hour 🤷‍♀️. My only suggestions are: 1. I really wish that it was easier to get diamonds since they are really hard to get a lot and take a while. And when u do get some it’s only one or two or you have to watch an add to get like one diamond (￣ー￣). So like what if u could buy diamonds with seeds too? 2. There should be more areas that u can unlock! I love to save up and get excited when I unlock an area to upgrade and decorate! The art style, the little hamsters, the rooms, the decorations, the animations—everything has so much personality. I especially love how expressive the hamsters are and how they all feel like they have their own little lives. Watching them run around the inn, check in, relax, sleep, eat and interact with everything is ridiculously wholesome.One of my favourite things about the game is how relaxing it is. There isn't this huge pressure to constantly be perfect or rush through everything. You can just open the game, check on your inn, upgrade some things, decorate, collect rewards and watch your little hamsters go about their business. It's the perfect game to play when you want something relaxing and comforting. I also really like the progression system. You start off with a small, simple inn, but gradually you get to expand it and make it better. Seeing the inn slowly transform as you unlock new rooms, furniture and decorations makes the progress feel really rewarding. It gives you something to work towards without making the game feel like a massive chore. And THE DECORATIONS. 😭💕 There are so many cute little details that make decorating genuinely fun. I love being able to make the inn feel like my little hamster hotel rather than everything looking exactly the same for every player. Even tiny things can make a room feel completely different.The sound design and music also fit the game perfectly. Everything has such a cozy, cheerful feeling to it. It makes the whole experience feel like you're stepping into this tiny peaceful world where your biggest problem is making sure your adorable hamster guests have a nice place to stay. 🥹 I also appreciate that the game doesn't take itself too seriously. It's silly, cute and charming, and it knows exactly what kind of game it wants to be. Sometimes you don't need an intense storyline or complicated mechanics—you just need tiny hamsters running a hotel. And somehow, that works incredibly well. Another thing I really appreciate is the attention to detail. There are so many little animations and interactions that make the inn feel alive. It's the kind of game where you can stop for a second and just watch what's happening because there's always some tiny hamster doing something adorable in the background. Honestly, Hamster Inn feels like a comfort game. It's the type of game I can come back to when I'm bored, stressed, or just want something cute to play. It doesn't overwhelm you, and there's something incredibly satisfying about slowly building up your little inn and seeing all your hamster guests enjoying it.
