Couldn’t have done it without this app. ### 5/5 — Excellent Study Resource *2026-03-31* I bought the Gordon West study guide for technicians license and read that and used the app to study as I went along. The ability to sort the questions based on which study guide you are using is awesome! Once I finished the book and got to 99% apptitude with the app in study mode I then switched to practice tests in the app until I got consistently 95% or higher. I easily passed the actual exam and have now moved on to studying for my general license. The app makes studying so easy. Each question has an explanation and most questions have a memory device to help you when you take the test. I especially appreciate that it’s a one time purchase and not a subscription. I was able to study for my extra class license with no internet on a plane. Well and easily worth the money and you can tell the developers care about helping you get licensed an on the airwaves. I keep getting consistent passing scores, and it’s 100% worth the $3.99 price tag. I already paid for the app, but was told there is no way for me to get it on my iPhone that I now have instead of android. The update from last week (6/20/2024) has rendered it impossible to use. None of the exams show up. I have sent the developer an email with screenshots, but it’s been 48 hours and not even an acknowledgement has been received. There’s plenty of free ones on the internet. Because your testing history cannons be fully cleared, you never really know when you are ready to test, even when you start a new session. You can spend far too long continuing to study, therefore. The review results are unclear as to the morning of the graphs, and there is no real good grasp of what their “aptitude” rating means. Don’t waste your time. The developers have pooh-poohed these complaints in their firm and won’t provide options to clear your testing slate or define their terms in the app or website, wish I hadn’t purchased, since it’s all about perpetuating their app. ### 2/5 — No Help at All *2026-06-01, version 2.4.2* Beside from not crashing and having a cohesive color scheme, this app does nothing to help one study for the test. There’s no units corresponding with chapters, nothing to actually aid other than practice exams. Some questions annoyingly show up again and again ad nauseum. Some questions hardly ever show up. The random number generator or overall question selection algorithm is low quality. Technician to Amateur Extra. The structure and format really help to get your mind into the game. Study hard with it and it will pay off. Passed all three of my exams in the 90th percentile with no problem. Was an easy task because I already had a basic understanding of what was covered in the exams. Extra was a bit out of my comfort zone. Combined with the Fast Track study series and Ham Study (which work well together) I was able to prep in my spare time in 4 weeks for my Extra exam and passed with 49/50. Just download it and use it. It lets you filter specific parts in each subsection and there’s way more control in choosing what questions you want.
