### 2/5 — Very Basic

*2025-03-24, version 1.1.2*

This is a very simple and basic game. There are almost no options, how your hand is dealt is how it is in your hand, you cannot put the cards in any order, you don’t have any options on how the game is played, no option to have a canasta of wild for instance.the animation is very slow with no option to speed it up. Very slow game, any body can win this, it is not challenging in any way.

### 2/5 — Computerized Partner Holding Needed Cards

*2021-05-03, version 1.1.2*

May 3, 2021
Thank you Mr. Developer for your reply. Your response was quite clear - no changes to slow/holding computerized playing. As previously stated, I will STOP bugging you and delete the app. Thanks for your consideration.

I agree with all reviews that say the computerized player holds cards instead of playing them. It’s beyond annoying. If there was another version that doesn’t deal with coins and mess, I’d certainly download it. If you can’t fix the card holding, can you fix it so that the human players can at least change partners? And if you, the developer are not going to change anything, just say so and we will STOP bugging you and delete the app!

**Developer response:** Different people will want partners to play differently. In this case, I chose to make the computer players start a new pile whenever they can or complete a clean canasta when appropriate. They hold cards when there is no possibility of someone going out to increase the chance of picking up the discard pile when it is to their advantage. Once there is a possibility of someone going out, the computer players bail out everything they can (within certain limitations).

### 2/5 — Slow

*2020-04-29, version 1.1.1*

I have two complaints. The cards move slow from each hand to lay down. It would be nice to be able to adjust the card movement to a players preference. Also, I notice my partner has a hand full of cards that they don’t play, and then they discard a card they could have added to a meld.

### 1/5 — Player holding cards

*2019-11-07, version 1.1.1*

Player who is suppose to be your partner holds cards how fair is this game mu opinion is its not a good game to play

### 3/5 — Hand & Foot Canasta

*2019-10-06, version 1.1.1*

Very slow play.
Can’t sort the cards in my hand so it is difficult to see what points you have.
Only some piles are marked as clean or dirty.
Stating the number of cards in a pile would be helpful as the cards are small & sometimes hard to count.
Not a bad game, I’ll give it 2 1/2 stars.

### 1/5 — Do not buy this game

*2019-10-02, version 1.1.1*

It is total advantage to the computer. Not fair play at all. So sorry I spent the money

### 1/5 — To slow

*2019-09-12, version 1.1.1*

Can’t organize hand and don’t like playing partners

### 2/5 — Clarity

*2019-09-09, version 1.1.1*

Why can’t you show by a simple letter ‘d’or ‘c’ above the books whether the book is dirty or clean...in order to help with discards.

I agree with so many reviews about our electronic partner not discarding cards. Sometimes they are caught with many, many cards that should have been added to books during play.

Later on:
I gave you two stars...shouldn’t have...one is too high. I regret paying for this game.. player 2 is most annoying...never plays his cards always gets caught with hundreds of points in his hand.

### 3/5 — Good game but still needs some tweaking

*2019-04-07, version 1.1.0*

Love the game but despite the update the computer isn’t able to utilise the advantage of discarding cards when it’s advantageous. Just finished a hand where we had all the cards in the meld yet my “partner” didn’t lay them down. When I went out they had 8 cards all of which could have been placed down for canastas. Frustrating but still enjoy the game. Would love to see this truly resolved to make it a fabulous game.

### 1/5 — Don’t pay for this game

*2019-03-23, version 1.1.0*

Horrible game. Can’t sort cards. Slow play.

### 1/5 — Too Tiny

*2019-02-21, version 1.1.0*

The cards are so tiny I can have to really focus on them. No matter how good the game may or may not be, I cannot make a determination, as play it on my ipad is too small for me. Am I doing something wrong?

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — I actually paid for this

*2025-11-11, version 1.1.2*

The hand does not sort until you get your foot. It is so hard to determine what you have. Also when you put a card up by accident and re-do it, it undoes everything you did that turn. I wish I had my $2.00 back!!!!!!!!

### 1/5 — Issues

*2025-01-30, version 1.1.2*

Why is it that the guy on the left goes into his foot first. Why sometimes I can get the cards to go in order by pressing the board in random areas and other times not at all. Today the game locked up twice…when will you respond to these issues?

### 1/5 — Hand and Foot

*2023-08-02, version 1.1.2*

My partner does not get rid of their cards, waits for me to go out then has a huge score when they could have laid cards down. The 2 players we play against are way better players than my partner

### 1/5 — Very disappointed

*2021-10-20, version 1.1.2*

There is no way to win this game. The opponents always seems to get the wild cards. And I agree with all the reviews that our partner plays badly. The game is also slow and there is no way to sort the cards in your hand and there is no way to restart a new game without finishing the current one, which we always lose. I really want my money back.

### 1/5 — Very Frustrating

*2021-08-14, version 1.1.2*

My partner fails to play cards that are playable, fails to ask to go out when they easily could have and the game is so slow it makes me sleepy. Needs adjustable speed and running totals as each segment is played. I have watched opponents win the game because my partner is not playing their cards when they are available. Please fix these issues!
Just played 4 games where partner #2 let me go out without having played over 200 points that could have been. Please change this right away. There is no good reason to hold cards until the end when partner could have played on them!

### 1/5 — Poor decisions by automated partner

*2021-05-06, version 1.1.2*

I had to stop playing this because it annoyed me so much.

1. Automated partner dirties a clean one and then adds a clean card to the same canasta in the same play. Seems to prioritize getting rid of wild cards near end of hand even when a clean canasta is worth more points. Does not even go out on the play. Just dirties a canasta.
3. As other players have noted, the automated player just holds several playable cards even when we could catch the opponents with theirs. Doesn’t attempt to go out. Doesn’t ask me if I would like to go out. Of course opponent plays this way too. Could catch me with many cards but mistakenly waits for me to catch up. Still, I would like my partner to ask me if I want to go out, every time going out is possible. Then I can decide.

Hate this game.

### 1/5 — Won’t play

*2020-07-19, version 1.1.1*

You’re right. I am a GOOD player. Even play Hand, Knee, and Foot as players in Tournaments. Not ONCE have I won this game. You don’t have a chance of winning.

### 1/5 — My partner

*2020-06-16, version 1.1.1*

I love this game but I get so frustrated with my partner. They will not go out when they can, allowing the other team to make more points. The last hand played, when I asked to go out, they were holding 7 or 8 cards that would have played on the board. I am playing to win, not to give the game away with a stupid partner. Please teach this computer how to play the game!

06/16/20 same complaint as above. CAN THIS BE FIXED?

### 1/5 — Love it but..

*2019-11-13, version 1.1.1*

The game has rules for going out but actually it asks ifyou want to go out well before you can by the rules. I often go out with 2 or3 canastas in order to shut out the opponent. The developers need to address this issue.

### 1/5 — Annoying!

*2019-11-11, version 1.1.1*

Why doesn’t the computer lay down as many cards as possible when they play, rather than waiting until the very end! There are SO many situations where your (computerized) teammate has cards which play, but they hold on to them! This causes me to have to wait to get into my foot!!! I don’t care about my opponents, but my team member needs to play ALL the cards which truly play during their go! I’m constantly waiting for my teammate to make all their plays before I request to go out. Then when I do go out they have over a hundred points, which get deducted.

Also, when a group is played of any card denomination, on their turn, the opponent should NOT pick up from the discard pile simply to make a group of 3!

PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great way to learn the game.

*2022-08-14, version 1.1.2*

I enjoy playing against the computer while I lean the game and improve my strategy. I bought another game where you play against other online players(no thanks).

### 5/5 — Fun game

*2022-03-11, version 1.1.2*

I love playing this game since I’ve been unable to play in person with others. One issue is that when I take the deck, I don’t get all the cards, only the top one. Since this can be a very important move, I wonder if it is a glitch in the game.

### 5/5 — Pretty good variant of H & F!

*2021-03-14, version 1.1.1*

All in all excellent app! Great job!

Not slow IMHO, but does dirty clean rows when it’s not trying achieve anything (going into foot, going out, and will dirty a clean row before playing other cards on already dirty rows that would allow it to play extra wild card on dirty row.

Wishlist:
Could pick how many hands to play in a game (5 can be a lot)
Can go out with 3+ red 3s and/or 3+ black 3s, or at least red 3s go down as 100 meld anytime.

### 4/5 — Red 3

*2023-05-22, version 1.1.2*

I love playing this as I can practice playing with a partner for the real thing. The only major request I have this: I certainly would like to have points for the red 3s.

### 4/5 — Great game

*2019-01-22, version 1.1.0*

Love it, works very well. One suggestion, however:
Please allow to mute the annoying sound so I can listen to my music playlist while playing the game! I cannot listen to the music if I need to turn off the sound on my iPad!
Will give 5 stars if the mute option is added to the game!

### 4/5 — Can not go out

*2018-10-16, version 1.1.0*

This has happened several times. We have enough canastas to go out but it won’t let me discard.

### 3/5 — The partner is a card hog!

*2025-06-04, version 1.1.2*

The partner will not play cards at reasonable times.

### 3/5 — Love the game…………………………………………..

*2025-01-26*

I have a few suggestions, first if there was a way to move our cards when we first get them so that they are in order that would be a big help and keep score for each game played so we can see what the amount is. That way if we are still behind in a game we have the option to continue to play.

### 3/5 — Seeing my opponent’s cards?

*2023-03-13, version 1.1.2*

Real glitches. Seeing both my hand and the player on my left. Not being able to draw because the game freezes up. And why is my partner tossing a vital card that could make a meld after playing extra cards on completed melds. I want this to work so badly.

### 3/5 — Hand and foot canasta

*2021-11-01, version 1.1.2*

Should get about 13 cards in the hand and foot when dealt
Would be so much more challenging if you could take the whole pile instead of seven cards only.
I find it very boring the way you have it played.
Please think about making it a better game.
