A proposta do aplicativo é ótima, mas os desenvolvedores não se importam em oferecer um bom serviço. ### 3/5 — 1/2 Right *2026-04-10, version 7.5.1* This is a great tool, but it misses a lot of basic ASL structure in addition to sometimes the avatar simply doesn’t sign the most important word! So this is unreliable. It simply gives you the gestures in order of the words you typed in. But ASL often uses a different structure. Also signers will choose a known gesture for a word It doesn’t have an existing gesture for. But this app just finger spells any word it doesn’t have a gesture for. There’s a lot of nuance and my oversimplification here is debatable and would be much better addressed by an established person of the ASL community, which I am not. So in short, have fun with this app and it will give you a great base. But be aware this is not the way most ASL users would translate your spoken sentence. Though in a pinch, you will be understood. Frustratingly I have seen the avatar drop some of the most important words. I look forward to the continuing improvement of this app ### 2/5 — Not ready for prime time. *2026-04-04, version 7.5.1* I was very disappointed in the app opening in portrait mode and not in landscape mode. I use it on my iPad with an attached keyboard. Having to tilt my head to see the pictures is annoying. You can do better! No entanto, após a última atualização, fiquei extremamente decepcionado. Agora, são permitidos apenas 12 usos gratuitos por dia, e depois disso é necessário pagar para continuar utilizando o serviço. Essa mudança impacta diretamente a proposta principal do aplicativo, que sempre foi a inclusão. Como um aplicativo criado com esse propósito passa a adotar uma limitação tão restritiva? Doze usos diários são insuficientes até mesmo para um diálogo curto, o que acaba inviabilizando o uso contínuo para quem realmente precisa. Na prática, isso transforma uma ferramenta antes acessível em algo limitado e, para muitos, inacessível. Entendo que existam custos envolvidos na manutenção e evolução da plataforma, mas mudanças como essa deveriam ser pensadas com mais cuidado, principalmente considerando o público que depende do aplicativo no dia a dia. Talvez um modelo mais equilibrado, com limites mais razoáveis ou alternativas acessíveis, fosse mais coerente com a proposta original. Espero sinceramente que a equipe reveja essa decisão, pois o aplicativo tem um enorme potencial e sempre foi uma ferramenta valiosa para muitas pessoas. This morning I went on the app and I noticed across the very top of the page there were very suggestive pictures of young women! Looked like porn to me!!! What the heck??? I called my kids & we are all deleting this app immediately! Sometimes the AI cartoon doesn’t even pop up and I have to restart my app multiple times for it to work.
