## What is Handoff HQ?

Handoff HQ records each vehicle a dealership releases to a transport driver.

Built for dealership staff who move a lot of vehicles, Handoff HQ turns a pickup into a photo-backed record on a phone instead of paperwork.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Scan the VIN barcode to fill in the year, make and model. Take condition photos and mark damage with standard damage codes.
- Scan the barcode on the back of the driver's license, or upload a photo of it, and the details fill in. The driver signs on the phone.
- Show the driver a short privacy notice in English or French.
- Check the carrier's FMCSA operating authority, out-of-service orders and federal insurance filings. A flagged carrier needs an admin's approval, with a reason, before release.
- Keep each carrier's certificate of insurance on file and send the insurance agent a link to confirm it.
- Photograph the truck and trailer plates and the cab door. A door number that doesn't match the carrier needs a written reason.
- Canadian carriers: enter the CVOR, NIR or NSC number and province. An admin confirms the provincial certificate before release.
- Scheduled pickups: the VIN, carrier and driver must match the order before release, or an admin approves the difference with a reason. The Today screen lists the day's pickups and what needs attention.
- Confirm the bill of lading and complete the handoff. A completed record can't be edited in the app (an admin can void it, with a reason that stays on the record), each step is logged with who and when, and each photo keeps a fingerprint (SHA-256) that is checked when it's shown and on the PDF.
- Export a PDF record of each handoff.
- Admin tools: manage users at each rooftop and review the audit log. The account owner can also review the security log.

MADE FOR THE LOT
Fast on a phone. Driver ID photos and license details are visible to admins only and are deleted 30 days after the handoff. Two-step sign-in is required for account owners and admins.

Handoff HQ requires an account provided by your dealership.
