## What is Handro?

Handro helps solo tradespeople and small service teams run the workday without juggling texts, paper and spreadsheets. It is made for handyman work, property maintenance, lawn and landscape maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and other local home-service businesses.

EVERY CUSTOMER REPLY IN ONE PLACE
Customer texts and emails land together in one shared, searchable Inbox, on your own local business number instead of a shared line. Set it up from your phone: the one-time business verification carriers require, then pick your number. Handro answers STOP and HELP for you.

RUN THE DAY FROM ONE PLACE
See today’s jobs, customer details, addresses, notes, assigned staff and job status. Call or message a customer from the job, get directions, and update the work as it moves from On My Way to Completed.

BOOK A JOB WITHOUT TYPING
Say the job out loud using the microphone on your own keyboard. Name the customer, the work, the time and the price in any order, and Handro fills in the form for you to check before saving. Nothing to set up, and the app never asks for microphone access.

TRACK HOURS AND WHERE THEY WENT
Clock in with one tap and record what you were on: a job, driving, quoting, supplies, admin or a break. The day reads as one timeline with a running total, so payroll and job costing stop being guesswork. With your permission, a clock-in can also record where it happened.

SEE HOW THE BUSINESS IS DOING
Charts for revenue, jobs and new customers by day, month or year, alongside the numbers that matter this week.

QUOTE, DOCUMENT, INVOICE
Create estimates with parts, labour and tax; collect customer approval; then turn completed work into branded invoices. Capture site photos and complete field checklists so the job record shows what was done.

GET PAID YOUR WAY
Send payment links through Stripe or Square, take deposits or full balances, and record cash, e-transfer, cheque and other offline payments. Handro adds no payment markup; processor fees still apply.

KEEP REPEAT CUSTOMERS ON TRACK
Create recurring jobs for routine maintenance and seasonal service. Keep customer history, jobs, invoices, payments and memberships together. Sync customers, invoices and payments with QuickBooks or Xero; Wave syncs customers and invoices.

BUILT FOR ONE TODAY. READY FOR A CREW.
Solo gives one operator unlimited jobs. Team supports up to 10 people. Owners and admins control business settings while staff access is based on their role.

Eligible customers can start a 14-day free trial. App Store subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in App Store account settings.

Existing customers can sign in, or create an account with Google and complete setup in the app. An internet connection is required for live business data and actions.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.0 — 2026-09-26

- Text customers without leaving Handro: On My Way and Text open a signed message, ready to send, right in the app.
- Help guides now have Go there buttons that take you straight to the right screen.
- Clearer wording when you add photos or your business logo.
- Fixes for large text sizes and smaller screens.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-24

SAY THE JOB INSTEAD OF TYPING IT
Start a new job with your voice. Tap “Say the job instead”, use the microphone on your own keyboard, and Handro fills in the customer, the work, the time and the price for you to check. Nothing is saved until you confirm it.

A CLOCK THAT KNOWS WHAT YOU WERE DOING
Clock in with one tap and pick what you are on: a job, driving, quoting, picking up supplies, admin or a break. Your day shows as one timeline with today’s total at the top, so hours stop being a guess at the end of the week.

CLOCK-INS CAN REMEMBER WHERE THEY HAPPENED
With your permission, Handro records where a clock-in took place and centres the map on where you are. Location is always optional and only used while the app is open; declining it never stops you clocking in.

CHARTS IN REPORTS
See revenue, jobs and new customers by day, month or year.

A SIMPLER MORE TAB
Everything is grouped into tappable tiles, so timesheets, messaging and settings are one tap away instead of buried in a list.

SMALLER THINGS
• Send an invoice in one tap — Share PDF and Email Invoice sit right on the job.
• Tell a customer you are on your way, with an ETA.
• Set up business messaging without leaving the app.
• Clearer job tabs, and a plain reason shown when Call or Text is not available.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-22

Your customer conversations now live in Handro.

• Inbox — customer texts and emails together in one shared, searchable place, on your own local business number rather than a shared line.

• Set up texting from your phone — the one-time business verification carriers require, and picking your number, without needing a laptop.

• Forgot your password? You can now reset it yourself from the sign-in screen.

Plus the usual round of fixes and polish.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-19

• Promo codes: tap “Have a promo code?” on the plan screen to redeem a Handro offer through the App Store.

### 1.0 — 2026-09-16

No release notes.
