Wing Tsun is one of the most effective defense systems in the world and can be learned by anyone without having to be an acrobat. The techniques are energy efficient and use only the bare minimum to achieve the greatest possible benefit. There are various hand and arm techniques for a wide range of applications. A lot of emphasis is placed on tactile recognition of intentions and energies [these are real energy directions from physics] in order to process them accordingly. This means that one does not rely on visual impressions, but rather on touches. I found nothing to warrant paying for this app. *2024-04-12* No animation. A description of the use of moves but nothing to teach you to do the moves but static diagrams. ### 3/5 — Language changed *2024-02-05* It had been awhile since I checked the app, but when I did the language had changed from English to (I assume) German. Is there a way to get it back to English? Even the App Store advertisements show screenshots of the app in English. However, when I downloaded and installed the app it is in German. There is no way to change the app language. There are no options in the app. The app has no options under Setting. There is some nonsense about using command and some other key under a question mark, but there is no question mark and the app does not allow me to access my iPhone keyboard. Basically, the app is good if you speak German and useless for all other languages. Wing Chun is about details and efficiency. For the life of me, I can’t switch back to English. It’s extremely frustrating **Developer response:** Hi, we just released a new version which is fixing this problem and you can change the app language very easy via Settings -> Hands of Wing Tsun [in app list] -> Language. ### 1/5 — What happened with English version now is German only *2023-07-15* I used this app a lot when initial trained Wing Chun, and loved it, now I wanted to use it back and o surprise comes only in German, and they removed the different views of the positions keeping only the frontal one. Please fix it so I can fix my review **Developer response:** Sorry for the late reply. When you are using the MAC Version please use the Command + Numbers combination as outlined in the question mark symbol on the top. then you can switch between the views. I will think of a better way to manage this. I was not aware of this shortcoming and will fix it ASAP. ### 3/5 — Good basic pictures of Wing Chun hands; however, German version downloads on US App Store *2023-05-31* Good basic static pictures of Wing Chun hands demonstrated on anime type character. However, despite App Store advertisement showing descriptions in English, I got German language version when I dowloaded from US App Store. Asked for help via Apple to reach out to developer but haven't yet heard back.
