Please take a look and see if you can streamline the flow on this. I go to the app and search the exact job title but it comes up with zero results. I try to find it through browsing jobs but it shows me jobs in other countries. Seems like they want to keep the scammers in business. ### 1/5 — Unpaid Hours & Ignored Support – Handshake AI *2026-08-10, version 7.29.0* Sharing my firsthand contractor experience with Handshake AI (Project Hedgehog & Multimango): Unpaid Work: Completed 89+ hours of logged, verified work. The earnings dashboard was reset to $0.00, blamed on "sync delays." No Support: Submitted pay disputes with timer screenshots. Messages were ignored, and I was removed from Slack channels without explanation. Legal Action: Due to unpaid wages, I filed an official Wage Claim (29 pages of proof) with the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). Documenting this factual experience to warn other contractors: keep strict logs of all your work. ### 1/5 — Ugh *2026-08-10, version 7.28.0* I’m annoyed because it forces you to fill everything out in the app; we can’t use the browser anymore to fill out for jobs. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t work on IPhone *2026-08-08, version 7.28.0* Doesn’t correctly open on my iPhone. ### 1/5 — fake job postings *2026-08-08, version 7.28.0* indeed had said that handshake “was hiring” for medical review of AI outputs. it was posted as working for handshake, asynchronous, WFH, so i was thinking i’m going to work for this company itself. the original posting said $300/hr, and when i went to the actual posting it went down to $110/hr. i went through the “apply” process thinking i can do this medical review on the side but the entire “applying” process was just so i could download their app. no surprise, that job didn’t actually exist. the entire applying process was just so they could get me to download their app and most likely harvest personal information. why on earth would a job searching app pose as an actual job on another job searching app(indeed)? they’re just trying to get people searching for jobs on their own app. sketchy, terrible, scam ### 1/5 — This is the worst app in the history of the world *2026-08-08, version 7.28.0* I just signed in using my school id and instead of progressing to anything. The app asked my what my school was again. If I was a software developer at this company I would be ashamed of myself and quit. ### 1/5 — A scam *2026-08-07, version 7.28.0* Scam, still haven’t paid me. ### 1/5 — Terrible Customer Service *2026-08-07, version 7.28.0* I joined and add my resume, got job offers and then was unable to join the jobs offered. Sent in a ticket only to be told to send it proof of education. I submitted my degree and was then told I was banned from the platform. Over 25 years in Managment and I’ve never seen such a poorly ran platform with poorly trained staff. Hr trained professionals should be screening and answering emails not random people who have poor hr training and ban applicants at leisure. Had this app hoping I’d find a job after applying in indeed. First time I went on the app, I put in my location and no jobs were available in my location whilst being part time. I’d check back every few days and now it’s been around 2-3 months of having it and everytime I check for any jobs there is NONE available. I put in my location too and it comes up with jobs in Denmark 🤦‍♂️. I’ve been waiting and waiting and it seems this app is just a waste of time and storage. Their filters are pointless and still return many results for irrelevant postings. For a company so insistent on developing their AI, they could stand to make AI useful for the job search. I had the app for maybe 2 hours and was emailed that I was banned from using the app. I had not done a thing but sign up. I contacted support to see why, and they didn’t say they just told me the same info I already knew. If you want to waste your time on getting banned on this app for no reason go ahead but this is ridiculous. ### 1/5 — App doesn't open up properly. *2026-08-29, version 6.51.0* App doesn't open up properly. Bunch of ghost jobs. 100s and 100s of applications and no response since months. Given the amount of recent 1-star reviews I will consider myself lucky that I couldn’t get in. Seems most people are not getting paid and found a class action lawsuit against them for non-payment. Idk what’s going on but yall need to fix it, like at this point just get rid of the app and continue working as a website ### 1/5 — Horrible Support for Employers *2026-08-12, version 7.29.0* I own a company and we were looking to hire 3 entry level associates. We have used Handshake in the past and had success. Without any warning, heads up, or message, our account was suspended and we lost all access to the candidates that had applied and scheduled interviews. We no longer had contact details or resumes for those that were showing up for their interview. We reached out to the support email they provided 4-5 times. It took 3 weeks to finally get a response. They wanted us to verify more company information about our LLC which we did quickly. We hired 1 of the 3 openings we needed to fill. 25 days later, our account got suspended again without any notice. It’s not been ANOTHER 3 weeks without any response to the 7 emails we have sent.
