Creating a measurement is fairly straightforward. And you can pick the dimensions to measure, but it doesn’t remember my setting if I exit and relaunch.  However I can only measure one thing and I can’t modify it after its been placed.

In the version 1.1 update, I added “multiple measurement”, “world anchoring”, and “log feature”. Check it out!
