It was one of the best classes I’ve ever had the opportunity to take. I’m so impressed by how easy and structured the course was to learn. The instructor was very knowledgeable about the course and was very helpful. I would recommend this app and the course to anyone. I am blessed to have been able to learn it. If a paramedic tells you they aren’t scared or elevated during a pediatric cardiac arrest, they’re lying or they should be removed from patient care. The Handtevy program in full—and this app specifically—have helped me make huge strides in gaining confidence for these often traumatic calls. Tracking everything, removing the on-scene med math, and pushing the practice of treating pediatric patients via the same processes we use to treat adults, while highlighting the small nuances inherent in the physiological differences of the type of patient, makes this program the future of EMS. Taught in concise, intuitive, dynamic format, Instructor course unlocks even more PRACTICAL functionality of app. Cannot wait to get my EMS crews on board with HandTevy’s stress mitigating & literal lifesaving processes. And foresee this to become global game changer in-hospital as well. Let’s do away with the overcrowded peds crash carts, the “System-2” math calculations & unnecessary chaos. This class and this app has had more positive effect on patient care than anything I have seen in my career. I hold instructorship in a multitude of disciplines but Handtevy is by far my favorite to teach. To see my peers, most well seasoned, have that “AhHa” moment during class is priceless. The app takes all the stress away from medication dosages which lowers the stress of the call.
