ひらがな→漢字変換や変換候補の豊富さなどスクリブルに比べて優位性は高いが、一方で記入→変換候補から選ぶという動作はスクリブルのスピード感に比べて劣るのが非常に惜しい。
完全な改善にはつながらないかもしれないが、バックスペース、改行、スクロールボタンを左側にもつけてくれれば両手操作が出来るようになり、スピード感も改善されるのでは。

2026年現在、おそらく10年程愛用してきた。最近、iPhone標準の日本語手書きも導入し、普段は本アプリ、一部のアプリでの入力にはiPhone標準というように、使い分けている。

「いま」という入力に対して、現時刻が候補に並んでいることなど、本アプリの方が便利に感じることが多い。

しかしFlutterで開発されたアプリの入力に本アプリを使うと、手書き認識された文字列が、候補文字列選択後も残ってしまう。例えば「かいはつ」と書いて「開発」を選ぶと「かいはつ開発」という文字列が入力欄に並んでしまうので、そのようになったアプリの入力にはiPhone標準の日本語手書きを使っている。

First and most importantly, the input panel does not open in all apps (specifically the settings app). Although handwriting recognition works well, and gestures are intuitive, input can be glitchy. Or more specifically the lack of input. Opening the keyboard may retain previously cleared input, tapping in a text region may input the last input which gets annoying when you're trying to move the cursor to the end of the line and it keeps inserting words in the middle of other ones, With the last update 3 years ago and no refund available I fear the app isn't even in maintenance mode anymore and I've just wasted my money.

2. Space button option to have it at the top of the keyboard.
3. When Apple Pencil hover is detected please make it ignore the handwriting.
4. Please add a native or first language dictation button somewhere on the keyboard.

This is a pretty nice replacement for Scribble on iPad. The UI can be a little buggy with some controls randomly overlapping even with the inline option turned off. Overall, it makes the handwriting-to-text experience on iPad a lot more polished. You can preview the conversion before committing it to your document, and the 2-line alternate writing option mimics the natural flow of regular writing. I have also noticed some random capitalization, and the writing strokes are pretty pixelated—like writing with a dull pencil versus a nice pen. It’s been a while since this app was updated so I hope it doesn’t die off.

I really like this Keyboard. Except For the fact that it capitalizes random words. Some lowercase and uppercase letters look the Same. I need this keyboard to be Faster than using the regular Keyboard for it to have been worth the money. It predicts words based on my crappy handwriting fine. So, I Feel like it should be able to not auto-cap with ease. I'm using this Keyboard right now to write this Comment. To use this as an example of how it capitilizes random word.

ライバルアプリのmazecと比較した場合のレビューです。変換確率は手書きキーボードの方が優秀です。しかし決定的な欠点がこのアプリには存在します。変換に失敗して、候補の文字が見つからなかった場合、入力した文字を全部消して、最初から書き直さなければならないこと。mazecの場合は、一文字ずつチェックして、その文字だけを消して書き直すことができます。実際に使ってみると、このシステムの差が大きい。なぜならば手書きキーボードの場合は、何度書き直しても同じミスが起きて、先に進めなくなるからです。もし手書きキーボードに、一文字ずつチェックして、その文字だけ消して書き直せる機能があったら、最高のアプリになるでしょう。ふたつのアプリを使ってみてわかったことは、平仮名の判定は、どのアプリでも同じ変換ミスをする。例えば平仮名のいですね。数字の1がふたつ並んでいると認識されてしまう。変換ミスが起きた場合の修正のしやすさも、大事なのではないかと思います。

**Developer response:** アプリのご利用ありがとうございます。書いている途中で一部を書き直したい場合、その部分を上からグチャグチャな線で書き潰すとその部分だけを消して書き直す事ができます。また「い」が「1」「1」に変換されてしまった場合、一方の「1」をもう一方の「1」にドラッグすると、「い」に変換されますのでお試し下さい。

2割くらいの頻度で書いてる途中の文章(確定前)が全て消えます。
こまめに確定していけばいいのですが、筆が進んで1行、2行と書いた時に消えるとやるせない。
「クリア」に触れてしまっているのかと思い注意して見てましたがそういうわけでもありませんでした。
それから消えるタイミングとしては、筆が止まったタイミング、つまり予測変換候補が手書きエリアに出た直後のようです。

The handwriting recognition is better than scribble. But the app itself is really really clunky. Buttons are overly big and in awkward positions. The pen line is comically big, and if you make it smaller it looks low resolution. In fact all the icons are low res, making the keyboard look terrible.

Some product and UX design would go a long way here.

I work with children with vision impairment.  Is there anyway of enlarging the text font size? I can using magnification in a window but natively changing the font size would be amazing.  Cheers

I really like this app, because I can, make cool notes on my old iPad that doesn’t support Apple Pencil and its functions (like scribble). But the thing is that my main language is not English. I use this keyboard a lot to study English, but I wish it supported other languages like Spanish or Korean 😭.

読み取り精度はかなり良いし、ぐちゃぐちゃやって書き直せるのが便利。上下分割で連続して書けるのも素晴らしい。600円でこれはコスパいいと思いますよ。
ただ精度はまだ向上できそうでもあると感じる。文字によっては特徴を捉えるようにして癖のある描き方をする必要があるし、特に記号や小文字に弱いからそこを強化してくれれば……。

I have been using this keyboard for a couple years and am really loving it. The ways it handles partial input, correction, joining, erasing, and clearing text are excellent. The handwriting is very accurate smooth and enjoyable. The double row setting is great for inputting a continuous stream of text. The options for keyboard size, color, line width, in line input, gestures, auto enter, etc are great as well. There are only 3 minor things that I wish could be improved I wish the "high'' resolution option was available in the advanced settings (minor issue), there is a small visual glitch when switching to the handwriting keyboard from other keyboards, and lastly, sometimes for no apparent reason, the keyboard freezes up, and can only be fixed by either completely disabling it or restarting my iPad. One feature that would be nice to see would be two finger pinch and zoom anywhere on the keyboard to change between floating and docked modes when two finger gestures are disabled in the settings. Nl and all an excellent keyboard that was well worth the money!

入力エリアに入力した文字がボケるようになってしまいました。いわゆるピンボケ状態です。 立ち上げ直すとボケずに入力できますが、いちいち面倒です。 当方はiPhone XS Max、ios16.7.2で使用しています。どうすれば直せるのでしょうか？

iOS標準のスクリブル機能に比べると文字認識の精度では少し劣っており、ちゃんと綺麗に書いた字でなければ誤認される傾向が強い。
あとスクリブル中のキーボード起動に関するバグの説明は結局どういうことなのか未だにわからない。

I brought this app because Scribble won’t write uppercase letters (what’s up with that Apple?)
The first issue was having to do all my writing in that box across the bottom. I do most of my work in landscape and I lose a third of the screen. Having to manually press the space button to clear the box to start the next line of text is also annoying and awkward and, cumulatively, a productivity drain.
What I can’t tolerate though, is the editing. The “clear” button is a nightmare. I can’t get the delete button when I need it. When I type an entry, I don’t know for sure where it will end up or what will be entered (yes, I was careful to put the cursor in the right place.)
Yes, it fixes one problem, but creates several others.
If I missed the instruction manual, point me in the right direction. If not, this was a bust. Refund?

当方iPadでフローティングキーボードを主に使っており、Apple pencilでの文字入力もできたら便利と思いこちらを購入。 しかし、開いたり言語切り替えしたりでキーボード（手書き欄）を表示すると高確率でキーボードがフリーズし入力できなくなったり、クラッシュしてネイティブのキーボードに切り替わったりします。 フローティングでなければ動くのかもしれませんが、画面表示の広さを捨ててまで手書きしたいわけではないので…… 7/22追記 ご返答いただきありがとうございます。 スクリブルの設定を確認したところ、元々オフになっていました。 アプリを再インストールもしましたが、Apple pencilを使っていない時も含めてやはり高頻度でフリーズしてしまいます。 7/24追記 再起動を試してみましたが、再起動直後でもフリーズは起こりました。8/11追記 当方Apple pencilを利用しており、手書き入力を利用するときは指や手のひらが画面に触れないよう操作しております。フリーズは書く前（キーボードを開いた時）に発生し、書いている途中に発生したことはありません。

I got this app for quick access to a handwriting to text option and with in the first few times of writing it would misinterpret words and when you try to erase it you have to make large exaggerated scribbles that make it way slower than typing. So don’t waste your money the app is crap. (if you are looking for another app i use Nebo and it works if you don’t have a keyboard and its much better)

At first, I worried about paying money for this app, but it was only $4 so I bought it.  

I do a lot of writing and cursive is far faster for me than typing or using an on-screen keyboard. Plus, it feels more natural to me to write. I have used this for years, long before its last update. Of which, I doubt I will see any more updates, but this app works well enough for me. 

The app has a bit of a learning curve but a little practice and paying attention to issues, it is easy to compensate. Other than the issue others have mentioned about the random capitalization, It has issues with cursive capital G and cursive lowercase z, but writing them in Manuscript will fix this issue. 

For some reason, it likes to switch lowercase r with n and vice versa. Plus, it likes to make sure words you write are actual words, which can be a pain when writing weird names. Most of the time writing the names in manuscript will fix This issue. 

Occasionally, when writing single words, or fixing an incorrect word, the app gives me total gibberish. To fix this, I write extra letters or extra words and it corrects itself. Sometimes, it likes to totally change words, but the best you can do is erase then rewrite the words. Its final issue is that it does not like to count spaces randomly and decides to join your words together. By leaving an extra large space when this happens will fix the issue. 

It may seem difficult to compensate for the app's issues but I have used this app so much that it is second nature to do it now. All-in-all this is the best app I have found to turn your hand writing to text for the iPad. 

Thanks to the creator of this app to make my life easier. It is awesome !
