Great service and delivery time. I get texts and calls thanking me for the cards! My only issue is seasonal cards and more choices. They had an “Americana” card in May but now it has disappeared around Independence Day. It would be necessary for the company to adjust cards seasonally and change them out more often in order for me to keep using the service. There is still Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Mother’s/Fathers Day but nothing for the upcoming July 4th. I send out about 25-50 cards a month and the lack of new choices will ultimately keep me from continuing with this service. ### 4/5 — Great app. Improvements could be... *2020-08-11* This app is GREAT. Truly I am obsessed with the idea of being able to send out handwritten cards without having to do all of the things: going and picking out and buying the card, actually handwriting (neatly), postage, and remembering to send... I just never follow thru. This app has allowed me to actually follow thru which is saying a lot. That said, a few improvements are imperative. First, we need to be able to include more words. The character limit is too low. Second, there needs to be more variety in cards. Third, more variety in gift cards would be great and maybe even partner with local wine and spirit and flower shops so that bottles and/or flowers can be sent with cards. Great personalization esp when sending to an elderly person. ### 3/5 — How do I add a recipient in the app?? *2020-01-07* Love the app, but for the life of me I can’t tell how to add a recipient after I choose one from my contacts. 🧐 The only option is an ‘x’ at the top right. There is no ‘add’ ‘save’ or ‘continue’ at the bottom. ??? Help! ### 4/5 — Customization *2019-12-23, version 2.5.1* I would like to add my logo in the inside or outside of a card ### 4/5 — Great service, small selection *2019-12-21* Ordered the cards on the website, not on the app, just was more convenient. Good experience. All the cards were delivered to 15 different addresses as I know with 2-3 days, which to be honest for a holiday season is great. Few comments/suggestions. First of all more options to choose from would be awesome. Different styles, different colors, for kids and for adults, funny and serious and everything in between. I understand print cards cost money but if next year I’ll see the same cards, or the same birthday cards I picked this time I won’t use this app, I can’t mail the same cards to the same people. Second, more customization options and make every card to be able to customize will be a big plus. Third, return address. It’s not clear what will be printed on the envelope as a return address. It has to be a separate box for a return address as well as option not to put a return address. Would be nice to have a paper selection. That’s about it. ### 3/5 — Needs one thing in particular for 5 stars *2019-07-10* Need to be able to save draft of card as well as “saving” as entered. I hit one too many back buttons and lost everything I had typed. Next, I wrote card, but didn’t have address I needed. I love all the font options and their greeting cards. I tried to create two different login profiles and wasn’t able to login in with either email address. Don’t waste your time, I really hoped this would work. The idea is a great concept! ### 1/5 — Can’t make new account *2023-09-09* Went through the trouble of writing a card but I get an error message when trying to create an account. Big problem! ### 1/5 — Worst app ever - please get app testing *2020-01-17, version 2.5.1* Get to the address part and spent 30 minutes trying to get return address and send to address to work. Don’t get this app unless you want to be extremely frustrated. ### 1/5 — Was charged and cards were never delivered *2019-10-17* I ordered a card in September 18th and was advised it was never complete. I attempted to send the card again as I thought I had complete the order incorrectly and was charged again. Neither order made it to the recipient or in “my orders” At this time I do not recommend this app as it seems to have some issues that need to be resolved. ### 1/5 — Great business - Garbage App *2019-03-29, version 2.2* After writing a card, the app crashes more often then it works. It does not save what you write, so after putting thought into what I was going to write, it is not even saving the draft. What a pain. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2019-03-24, version 2.1* Just downloaded and it opens but I can’t complete anything without it closing ### 1/5 — Can’t even write the note! *2019-03-23, version 2.1* I can select the postcard and start typing my note out, but the second I hit “next” it immediately crashes! ### 1/5 — Buggy app *2017-05-10, version 1.1.1* Whenever I tried to make a purchase, the app wouldn't let it through, saying my billing address was different than my card on file? I don't ever remember even putting in my billing address, but nonetheless the app doesn't suggest how to remedy this error, leaving the user helpless, and definitely moving on to the next app. Plus after this happened my discount code disappears and it won't let me re-enter it. Scam! ### 2/5 — *sigh* still no Apple Pay support *2015-04-18, version 1.0.6* I tried this a few months ago but stopped when they asked for credit card (why should I trust yet another company to keep my information safe?). I just downloaded again hoping for Apple Pay integration. Alas, not yet. Interestingly, when I clicked "rate us" in the app and picked two stars I saw message "thanks for the rating." Curious, I clicked again choosing five stars and was redirected to App Store with opportunity for real review entry. Evidently less than five stars is "hidden" from the public though not obviously hidden to those less familiar with the rating process (i.e. who sees lower ratings?). If so, dubious at least. ### 3/5 — Request for iPad Version *2020-01-09* Im sure this is a fine app, but I did not use it (so please disregard my 3 stars). I use an iPad with a keyboard and this app comes up in iPhone size and in the wrong orientation for an iPad, making is unusable for me. Yes, I know it is clearly labeled for iPhones. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — All good *2023-09-24, version 2.6.8* App works fine, and has a 4.1 rating in the US App Store. Seems to be the same version here but maybe the reviews are separate depending on the store? Anyway, good service and app. Only suggestion / request would be a bigger library of gifts to send along with notes. Specifically book… and ideally the ability to write the message in the book (thought I recognize that may not work with their robots). ### 5/5 — Rating *2023-07-22* I really enjoy this app…it’s so personal and I love that‼️ ### 5/5 — The Real Thing *2023-01-11* I was a little skeptical, so I did a test of a simple note to my dad. It truly is incredible! What I love is the fact that it looks like it is written with a pen by hand, and that there is no other marking from Handywrytten to indicate that this was done by a robot. No marks of any kind from the company. That is sheer Brilliance! I am recommending this to many many more business colleagues and friends alike. I love that fact that you can customize your card with any font and different cards and the fact that it isn’t typed it’s actually written by a PEN!! which is incredible, it truly makes it feel that much more authentic! And every time, the app closes at this step, losing the entire message.
