### 3/5 — Bluetooth Cursor Navigation Missing

*2017-01-10, version 1.4.2*

One of the enticing features of this alternative WorkFlowy platform is the supposed support for bluetooth keyboard cursor navigation. Unfortunately, I am still unable to use my up and down arrows to navigate in between bullets. If this feature is added, the review is immediately edited to 5 stars and I purchase the Pro version out of appreciation!

### 4/5 — Very useful

*2016-11-13, version 1.4.2*

Adds very useful functionality if you're a WorkFlowy useful, including a customisable keyboard row which you can include navigation options, mark this complete, create notes and so on. Also includes bookmarking. None of this is especially pretty or well explained but the functionality is excellent.

### 3/5 — Please keep going

*2016-10-29*

This app is a bit buggy, but has great potential to make Workflowy great on the iPad. Please fix the bugs (lag, sometimes getting stuck)and make the settings more simple and user friendly (bit convoluted right now). This can be a great app!

### 3/5 — Ads persist

*2016-05-18, version 1.1*

I am a devoted workflowy user for many years, but like others, have not made use of it much on my iPhone until handyFlowy presented improvements.

I immediately paid for the app but continue to have ads and lack the function of the paid version.

There seems to be no way to contact support to report this issue and this is frustrating for a new user.

### 3/5 — Almost the app that the superb Workflowy needs

*2016-04-30, version 1.1*

Workflowy is one of my most-used apps--on my computer, but until now, not on my iPhone or iPad because of an anemic official ios app. Handyflowy, I am happy to say, makes it *much* easier to tap into the power of Workflowy on an iPhone or iPad. But bugs and design problems still need to be fixed. An example of a bug: one of the two tabs, or views, on my Workflowy file is always so off-center in this app that only the far right edge is displayed. An example of a design problem: too much of the screen is taken by the extended keyboard and status rows, especially if you're using a third party keyboard to start with. But the power and ability to configure is there, and with some further work by the developers this app can become the portal to the superb online Workflowy that we mobile users have been waiting for.

### 3/5 — Useful but needs work

*2016-04-24, version 1.1*

Adds essential features to Workflowy on iOS: view mode, expand/collapse all, navigation shortcuts, and "delete"! However, it takes a long time to load each launch, it is a bit clunky to use, and doesn't seem to offer offline support. In short, it is no replacement for a much needed native app. Still, it is the best we have right now.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Won’t login via WorkFlowy

*2021-04-14, version 1.7.6*

Iphone & Ipad: App repeatedly opens a Safari Captcha page (with no images or functionality) every time I try to log in with existing (or even new) email address. Appears to be permanently broken. Is this app defunct?

### 1/5 — Very non intuitive

*2017-05-01, version 1.4.2*

Was painful to try to use. Prefer the safari desktop site when I need to use extended functionally. Just click on the send page icon and request desktop site.

### 2/5 — good attempt, but misses the point

*2018-08-11, version 1.7.1*

user experience is pretty clunky, and the following is no more than my humble opinion, but this goes against the whole point of workflowy- that it's a super straightforward outlining app, and very effect because of that simplicity (rather than despite it)

### 2/5 — Worst App Ever - Pathetic

*2018-06-25, version 1.6.1*

This app does not “select all” the same way the rest of the world does. “Select All” in this app means selecting an entire LINE or bullet point of text only. I’ve lost many hours of work - it will take me days to retype everything.

In other words: IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO EXPORT OR COPY AN ENTIRE DOCUMENT AT ONCE. I’ve wasted hours trying every different option. The program talks about linking to Evernote- but that is not any kind of simple option.

Just an awful program. It reminds of of bad, defective ransomware in the way it won’t let go of my data - but also doesn’t give me any option to retrieve my work.

If I’m somehow wrong here. Please just send me my data and I’ll gladly retract, or pay or whatever. I’m so very sorry I downloaded this piece of yuck.

### 2/5 — I use it, but bugs and minimal documentation hurt.

*2017-11-25, version 1.5*

For instance, search feature stopped working: there's a long pause with a spinner, but then it shows whole outline with nothing selected. Needs support-- I can't find any way other than here to attempt to contact creator.

### 2/5 — Ads or limited functionality but not both

*2017-06-25, version 1.5*

App is solid, ugly but solid. Problem is either have extra features for an IAP or have ads you can remove with an IAP. It's hard to determine if the extra features are worth the price while that intrusive terrible banner ad is there.

### 2/5 — Much needed, but still too buggy

*2016-10-04, version 1.4.1*

This is a much needed app for Workflowy. To be clear, this app is not an official app by workflowy. It does access your workflowy and supplement it with ease of use functions, and that is much needed.

Many of the concepts and features are great... When they work.

Unfortunately, the app is still very buggy. Half the time, it will not pull up the keyboard when I need to type on ipad. I have to make several attempts at it. Other times it freezes or will crash. The extra functionality is stiffled by bugs.

I have the paid version, too, and that has made no difference.

I'm waiting and hoping that the guys will smooth the bugs out and build a stable WF interface, or for the official WF team to build a mobile app that is actually helpful.

WF is the backbone of mg productivity. I love it, but I'm really handicapped on my mobile devices right now.

### 3/5 — Good but needs work. Better than web

*2017-10-19, version 1.5*

This is nice but it REALLY needs support fo an ipad with Smart Cover keyboard. When you select a place to type everything shifts up for the virtual keyboard, but there is no VK with the Smart Keyboard!

### 3/5 — LE client mobile pour WorkFlowy.

*2017-07-01*

Update: Edition problématique/impossible depuis la màj du 12/06/2017: bug de la sélection tactile. A corriger d'urgence. Heureusement que l'app Workflowy existe quand même…

Jusque là: tout ce qui manquait à l'app WorkFlowy, inaboutie sur iOS.

### 3/5 — Its s good app

*2017-05-15, version 1.4.2*

Although its a good app, Memoflowy from the same developer is really similar to this and I simply dont understand why features of both app cant be combined in one app. The developer charges 5.99 for each app. I checked the developers other apps and it seems like he likes to make 2 VERY similar app and sells them seperately. Go check it out. Its weird

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Most Powerful Workflowy App Right Now

*2019-10-27, version 1.7.5*

Update October 2019: It's even better than before and a LOT clearer how to use the shortcuts. Please keep going: this + Workflowy is a very powerful combination!

-------

This app is a Workflowy client. It's definitely NOT made by the creators of Workflowy, which is why it provides so many options and it ain't pretty (but that's configurable too). However, it works, it's powerful, and it supports an external keyboard very nicely (including EMACs keystrokes! Sweet) and a read-only mode so you can look over your WF without altering stuff.

Right now this is the ONLY good Workflowy client out there and it's very useful, especially on iPad with a bluetooth keyboard. It's pretty useful on iPhone too.

Hoping WF will release their own client someday, but until then, this one (including the in-app purchase) is quite awesome. Thanks for making this.

### 5/5 — Spectacular.

*2018-04-07, version 1.6.1*

This guy can code!

### 5/5 — Excellent outliner & brain extension

*2018-03-22, version 1.6*

I can't imagine using WorkFlowy without HandyFlowy which makes WorkFlowy an absolute pleasure to use on my iPhone. The latest version even supports the iPhone X. I highly recommend it, and the in-app upgrade is well worth the price.

### 5/5 — Way better than the Workflowy version

*2016-12-21, version 1.4.2*

This is a client for Workflowy. This client is better than the original Workflowy client in terms of its interface and usability. Good job.

### 5/5 — Game changer

*2016-08-10, version 1.2.1*

I love WorkFlowy on my Mac but rarely used it on iOS until I discovered this app. Now I can get the job done on my iPhone instead of waiting to get back to my desktop. That really is a game changer.

### 5/5 — Didn't use WorkFlowy on iOS before this

*2016-04-22, version 1.1*

Now I actually reach for my iPhone or iPad for editing/ creating lists with this app... Which means that my practical use of WorkFlowy now extends beyond my laptop.

### 4/5 — Workflowy impact on HandyFlowy?

*2019-05-22, version 1.7.3*

I love and use HandyFlowy as an interface to Workflowy on iOS because of the added functionality of the editing toolbar, which the main Workflowy app omits.

However it seems a recent modification to Workflowy has impacted on this and stops it showing. I wanted to check the developer is even aware of this and if there are plans to address this?

### 4/5 — Worth the purchase for a heavy Workflowy user

*2018-02-09, version 1.5.3*

If you’re using an iPad Pro with a Smart (or other Keyboard) - spend the few dollars. You get keyboard shortcuts, delete bullets, duplicate lists, export text, ability to change font size and other customization options. It’s a bit ugly, and not quite as powerful as using Workflowy on a personal computer, but Workflowy’s own app (as of Feb 2018) offers none of those features, which makes it totally unappealing for iPad + keyboard use.

### 4/5 — Makes workflowy usable on iOS

*2017-02-19, version 1.4.2*

I actually uninstalled the workflowy app and was looking for another todo list to store ideas on the go to later update on the desktop/web version of the app because the iOS app was awful and often didn't show me the latest items.
Handyflowy has made it possible to just stick to one tool as I can now use workflowy on ios properly!
Great app!
