The fact you can only do certain functions in horizontal mode is a bummer. I saw the ZOOM iQ series mics and decided to see what the app reviews said. What I see is a long list of reasons I should not buy anything from ZOOM, so I guess it’s back to TASCAM iM2 until I decide to buy a separate device. J’ai bien réussi à enregistrer avec le Zoom Iq7 avec l’application MultiTrack DAW, celle-ci permettant un choix multiple de qualité wave : 44,1kHz/16bits, 48kHz/24bits, 96kHz/24bits, etc… choix des combinaison entre kHz et bits. ### 1/5 — Five+ years of an abysmal app *2023-08-17, version 5.1.0* Five+ years of 1- and 2-star reviews that are still going strong to this day. Another example of a big corporation who doesn’t care about their customers as long as the physical product sells. (The mic itself is great, so it does sell.) The app is terrible. You can’t name files. You can’t edit them. The upside down interface for recording is useless because they never bothered to update it for the iPhones’ notch and pill designs. (You also have to dive to the bottom of the settings to find it.) You can’t stop and start recording on a single recording. There are way too many unnecessary tabs and weird places to access important things, like getting back to the main recording screen from a tiny “home” icon way in the corner furthest from your thumb. Unless you truly need WAV files (which I don’t want taking up my iPhone storage anyway), just use Voice Memos, which captures the high quality stereo audio perfectly in a thousand times better interface, with way more functionality. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — useless app *2026-02-25, version 5.7.0* it’s been recorded for an hour but when i stop the file only 4kb wtf! ### 1/5 — ファイルごとの巻き戻しが効かない *2026-01-04* 今までは最新の録音ファイルを連続で巻き戻すと前のファイル、その前のファイルと遡って巻き戻せたのにアップデートしたら出来なくなった。いちいちファイル画面から呼び出して聴かなきゃならない、波形で見られないから長さも分からないしどんなファイルかも想定できない。本当に不便です、元に戻してください。 ### 1/5 — びっくり *2025-04-28* iPhone本体にファイルをエクスポート出来ないから、仕方なくメールで自分に送信するというめんどくさい方法を試した所、なんとメールも送信できないという欠陥アプリだった。じゃあこのアプリ内のファイルはどうやって移動したらいいわけ？笑ちなみにiCloudにも飛んでませんでした笑 ### 1/5 — Worthless - Cannot Share or Export *2025-04-19, version 5.5.0* This SAME COMPLAINT was posted 8 YEARS AGO..
