## What is Hangerang?

Where hangs actually happen.

Unlike endless scrolling apps, Hangerang is built for living, not liking.

Post an Itch to say what you feel like doing right now. Your mutuals — friends who already have each other's numbers and are on Hangerang — get notified instantly. One tap turns your Itch into a Hang and makes it real.

After the hang, drop a Wish You Were Here card to share the moment and bring the FOMO.

Posts disappear after a short time to keep things fresh. Share your status or location when you want, keep it private when you don't. Groups and chat make coordination easy so everyone stays on the same page.

Privacy is built in. Your activity stays between you and your mutuals — no algorithm, no ads, no strangers.

Stop saying "we should hang" and actually do it.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.7 — 2026-09-25

- Cleaner sign-up flow — fewer steps to get set up
- Added the option to add friends with a QR code, right from onboarding
- Small copy and clarity improvements throughout

### 1.0.6 — 2026-09-25

Bugfix release: a more reliable back button, and better Props.

• Fixed the back button on several screens appearing as a plain black circle for some users, regardless of Light/Dark Mode.
• The "Down To Hang" toggle now only appears once you've made enough mutual connections.
• Fixed a bug where the "give some love back" prompt during setup didn't work correctly for early testers.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-09-19

Bugfix: unlocking your feed.

• Fixed a bug where reaching the exact number of mutuals needed to unlock your home feed still showed the "not enough mutuals yet" screen instead of your actual content.
• Also includes last release's iPhone bottom navigation spacing fix.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-18

A more comfortable fit.

• Fixed the bottom navigation bar sitting too high on iPhone, with extra empty space underneath it.
• Small polish pass on navigation spacing.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-15

Say hi to what's already waiting for you.

• New: if someone already gave you a Prop before you joined, you'll see it right in setup — with an easy way to give some love back.
• Permission requests (location, notifications) now happen earlier in setup, so the fun stuff comes last.
• Fixed a bug where every Prop's category showed as "General" instead of the real one (Food, Music, etc.).
• Small polish across onboarding.
