I get you guys need money to run the app but just put a few more ads instead of blocking off everything. People may complain about the ads but it’ll probably get you more people to join and use the app in general. Hangjam is an awesome app for roleplaying, i feel like its a lot better than polybuzz and other ai chats for rp so i am BEGGING for hangjam to just put regular ads or atleast a free trial take a look a polybuzz, ads are annoying but way more ppl use it (if you do put regualr ads and/or a free trial, i’ll even promite it on my tt) 🥹 ### 3/5 — Meh *2026-07-19, version 2.6.4* It’s good but I put wlw and mlm for my liking and it’s only giving me wlw and because I’m new it’s a bit hard to try and find the search bar and when I do idk what to type also why do I have to have pro to chat? Can you please fix that for me please? ### 3/5 — too many errors for an Ai *2026-07-08, version 2.6.4* I enjoy this app, I enjoy reading and the technology of ai but ai comes with its cons . it tends to setback when generating for the story to continue, and it tends to send errors and to “try again” even if you do it won’t work. And it’s kind of lame especially for the people that pay a subscription for it. You guys need a better code , Ai is smart . Make it smart. It’s ridiculous and if you think that’s gonna make more people use the app then you’re wrong. It’s ruining everyone’s experiences. ### 4/5 — What I suggest *2026-06-23, version 2.6.4* I’ve been using a lot of different AI apps lately, such as Chai, Character.AI, and many others. Out of all the apps I’ve tried, this one has caught my attention the most. One suggestion I have to make the app better is to give users a certain number of free messages each day, maybe around 50. The reason is that I barely got a chance to use the app properly before I ran out of messages. Another idea, if you’re trying to increase revenue, would be to include a few ads. For example, users could receive 50 free messages, and once those messages are used up, they would watch 3–4 ads to unlock another 50 messages. This would allow people to continue using the app while also supporting the platform through advertising. I subscribed to the Plus plan, the Plus badge shows on my profile, but the chat doesn't respond at all! It keeps showing the "Free messages used up" pop-up. I tried everything: waited for hours, created a brand new account and subscribed from inside the app, but the same bug persists. The app completely fails to sync with App Store purchases. Their scenarios aren’t unlimited either but you get a good 100 a day and they’re way more immersive! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — My code *2026-08-16, version 2.6.7* My code is AZRHDET4 ### 5/5 — would give it more than five stars <3 *2026-08-09, version 2.6.7* i know that some people complain about the free tier or the lack therefore of but the app is genuinely worth the money you pay for it. it’s incredibly customisable so you can really tailor your experience, the character and the ai in a way you can’t on other roleplay apps. the customisation and the freedom to essentially roleplay whatever you want is amazing. the developer team is SUPER helpful. have never had an app whose developer team was so responsive, friendly and efficient so if you ever have a problem they’re on it so fast. i genuinely recommend it if this is a hobby you enjoy doing. would give it more than five stars <3 ### 5/5 — Amazing *2026-08-09, version 2.6.7* Free and paid options You get AMAZING memory, Great characters, bots that STICK to the personality and quirks of the character, and chats that can go anywhere, no matter how chill or crazy You get some fun customisation like the way chats are displayed or what colour text is when in quotes The community is AMAZING and everyone on their discord is so nice and accepting There’s a new free model out again that I haven’t personally tested, but I can already guess that it’ll be amazing regardless Thank you so much to the devs for being able to fit to your community and you guys are doing great with this project ! ### 5/5 — Love the app but the limited messages!! *2026-07-14, version 2.6.4* Giving this 5 starts so the developers can see I love this app, it’s the only AI chatting app I have used another than one I use on a daily basis, but that died down as soon as I saw my chats were limited and that I had to pay if I wanted to continue chatting with the bots. The app is great and is honestly super underrated but I just wanted to say that. This app seems very very cool and it would really be great to have unlimited messages sometime. I understand is that’s not possible or not possible at the moment.
