When there is an event it wants to charge extra but yet at the machine you don’t have to pay the extra fee. Also they charge &1 every time you use it. Customer service rep told me it’s their technical issue and will have someone look into it and refund the money in 5 to 7 business days. 2 weeks went by, no refund still. Contacted customer service again, the other rep told me the same thing. Now it’s June 25, 2026, still no refund. This is ridiculous. Don’t waste your time contacting their customer service rep as they can’t do anything about any issues you encountered, just a waste of your time. It won’t work in Lonsdale Quay, it will only work outside. Very frustrating. I was going to a restaurant with friends and eventually I gave up on purchasing my parking ticket because it took me longer that 10 minutes to setup my account, and then I got slammed with a 47 dollar parking ticket. I will not be parking in hangTag zones from now on. For the software developers: don’t have the software error out if you fill in two fields correctly rather than just filling one field. What is the purpose of penalizing the user for entering correct information? That is seriously diabolical. Also, I started with trying to fill out fields online (safari) but I couldn’t even click to enter info in one field on safari, so I tried downloading the app but it wasn’t any easier. Maybe focus on user experience from a first time user trying to purchase parking and time people on how long it takes or what issues they are having so the process can be more streamlined. ### 1/5 — Double billed, no help *2026-06-17, version 3.6.4* Web site for parking was broken, support suggested I try the app. The app was giving errors, and it ended up double billing me for parking. I asked for a refund of one of the fees and support ignored me. Frustrating, wasted an hour on this. I am at Town Center court in Scarborough Ontario. First the app cannot find this parking lot then when you scan the bar code it opens the same application in a Webpage and not the app . When you search for the lot in the app it says cannot find but the webpage can find one. I had everything setup I the app and was so frustrating to use it and spent attest 30 mins trying to figure out how to use it.
