My group texts used to be so chaotic, and people would lose track of event details all the time and have to text me their questions. And chasing down RSVPs via text is not fun either. I love hosting events, so introducing Hangtight to my friend groups was a no brainer. I especially love how each event can have its own dedicated group chat so we can get hyped up before the event and share more info. This app is super convenient and very easy to figure out!! Usually this has been a problematic and time-consuming process but now it’s so seamless here. I’ve tried this app at my church and it’s become so easy to gather my friends there for prayer circle and also Bible study. My son also started using it for his youth group. I’m also part of a local book club and I’ve started using it there to keep better track of when we’re getting together and also share updates and ideas in the message threads. Might also use it for my friends who like to go hiking! Some quick feedback would be to think about collecting more personal preferences and hobbies. The current ones are okay but I think you’re missing out on some obvious ones like dodgeball, book clubs, prayer groups, etc. I’d also love to see the app available in other languages. I have a lot of friends who speak Spanish and while this app is intuitive enough for anyone to use in English, it would be so much better to enable it for native Spanish speakers. No more texting back and forth about dates and times only to end up getting fed up and not following through. There was an active group chat, a schedule where you can check your attendance or lack of, as well as plenty of additional info like locations of events. If you’re hosting a conference, this app should be your go-to for everything every time.
